I use water to wash my face or sometimes I’ll use plum face wash and scrub.

I just used my CeraVe/Simple moisturiser after face wash(I'm lazy like that) but have recently (like last month) jumped into the k-beauty vagon.

Started off with double cleansing during night time, feels so good.

Especially the cleansing balm I'm using (Banilla clean it zero). It's my first time using a cleansing balm but it's so good especially the smell. Whoever can should definitely try it once.

I'm in early 20s. Since my teenage I've been under a dermat for his opinion. Though now its more like a little mix and match to get the game going. I'll say I've seen a crazy positive difference since I've started working out since 1.6 years. My dry, dull, itchy skin has actually taken a turn towards being glass skin🤞.

I've dry skin due to consumption medicines. I use a facewash cream based, a serum oil, a water based glycol moisturizer and a sunscreen.

All in all if you want to look anywhere around the image skin I'd say run to a dermat nowwww. They can actually control ageing to a great level.

ALWAYS use a sunscreen 🧴. Using neutrogena with zinc 50+ SPF ( I have a think fair skin, gets burnt easily.. so have to reapply several times, when outside)

Using dot and key night cream and eye mask at night these days.

Other than that, desi solutions for skin like Multani mitti, sandalwood, rose water..

Also use facepacks .. brought a innisfree clay pack recently, L’Oréal face packs etc.

Even I'm a part of the Neutrogena gang. This sunscreen actually transformed my tanning self so much 😍

One thing is for sure though, I would never tell anyone to buy La Mer. I have never used it because it's not worth it when you look at the ingredients. it's basically Nivea. Look up the history of this cream, lots of pseudoscience. It's a complete joke. If I had to recommend an expensive skincare brand then Clinique is great.

I've never tried La Mer cuz I'm simply unable to justify the price for what it has to offer.🤓 Another overrated product is SK-II ... I bought a travel size and didn't notice any significant change in the look or feel of my skin for all the hype around it. I feel like there's no correlation between price and how well they work.

The most important thing you should do ASAP for good skin is use a good sunscreen. Yes, even brown skin people like us need sunscreen to fight sun damage which cause uneven skin, fine lines, hyperpigmentation.

Don't start a skincare regime with retinol, vitamin C and other chemical exfoliants like BHA or AHA without using a sunscreen or else it will be not beneficial at all. Retinol is a must for anti-aging. Vitamin C for brightening and radiance. Chemical exfoliant like AHA or BHA is good for skin re-surfacing and exfoliation.

If you are new to skincare I will suggest to keep the routine simple. For daytime a good cleanser/wash, moisturizer, SPF is enough. At night go for double cleansing with a micellar water or cleansing balm and a face wash, some retinol serum (since your biggest concern is anti-aging) and a night time moisturizer. Never sleep without removing your makeup or washing your face.

I'm a big fan of Ordinary products. I use their nicinamide serum, retinol 0.2% squalane serum, AHA/BHA peeling solution. For face wash, sunscreen and moisturizer I use the Neutrogena Hydro Boost range.

Recently because of constant face mask wearing I have been getting a lot of masacne and blackheads the face so I have been using some products from Korean brands like Cosrx, Some by Mi.

^ Seconded above! Everyone needs sunscreen because it's UV that it protects from. Wear it all year around including cloudy days and during winter (yes including those of us in Canada and other northern countries) because again it's UV that you need protection from. If you are indoors and sit near a window, wear a sunscreen!

Vitamin C is best paired with sunscreen.

Am I really the only person who got break-outs from using Retinol? Everyone keeps recommending it but it totally messed up my skin 😭 This is my routine that makes me look presentable I'd say, also I hardly wear any make-up which helps when you have acne / acne-prone skin.

I use a salicylacid facewash by Eucerin. Then this toner that I got from Biotique on my last India trip lol. And follow it up with acne-clear oil free moisturizer by PTR. Not many moisturizers work for me.

Same routine in the evening. What also helps me is using a face mask twice a week.

Edit: I try to avoid sunscreen because again, all of them mess up my skin lol. Bad I know 🥲

I like to stick to basics in skincare and have pretty normal skin thankfully. Touching 30 this year 🥳

- Eat nutritious food

- Exercise

- Sleep well

- Sufficient water

- A gentle face wash

- A hydrating serum at night

- Sunscreen during the day

- Using dot sized quantities of any product

- Barely any make up since years (just a Kajal and lipstick, girl)

- I try to not touch my face often or make frowny expressions 😆

- Mask once a week
