I need this post in my life. My skincare routine involves rinsing my face with water and relying on my parents genetics to stay looking youthful. So pretty much a hopeless routine. I’ve experienced a sudden rush of motivation 2am last week and have started these face sculpting massage techniques.

I can give an update if this is worth your time or if I’ve just been scammed 😂

I follow this channel but don’t follow the exercises she suggests. But the comments there are claiming that these facial exercises work.So I guess you are good.

Okay woo! That’s a relief. Thank you for the link. If I win any future skin-related pageants, I’ll make sure to give all credits to you 😂😉

There are like 3 moisturizers max that work well for my skin and those were among them. But I hated the toners and other stuff. And Clinique make-up is disgusting especially the foundation. But then again, I never end up liking any foundation from any brand. Even after getting matched a million times, it still doesn't work out. 😭

I love their Moisture Surge and it's probably their most popular product. I don't use their makeup. I have actually only tried their mascara. I own so much makeup and a decent amount of skincare as it is. I barely use any of it. I have a big bottle of ceramide toner but I need to finish my previous ones, taking so long. I don't wear foundation except for big events so I wouldn't be able to recommend anything to you. I just have a couple from Tarte and that's it. Don't just get matched, take the foundation sample home with you and wear it for the day. See if it oxidizes. When you get matched, make sure it's according to your undertone.

Cleansing

Moisturising

Sunscreen (Very important)

All according to skin type.

For acne prone skin, use pimple patches. Prevents scarring.

For marks/blemishes I apply a paste of gram flour+ curd+ turmeric twice a week. And then be patient.

I have a trouble finding a sunscreen that won't leave white cast. Any tips?

Edit: I have oily skin.

My derm recommend me Epiduo and it literally saved my skin from acne. Talk to your doctor about it next time you consult.

For occasional pimple here or there pimple patches work really well in preventing scars.

@others I have Sonam Kapoor level dark circles (😭) so any tips for that would be great too!

Retinoids or Retinols for wrinkles. Retinoids are prescribed while retinols are OTC. Be careful though, some people have to ease themselves into using retinols. Bakuchiol is like retinols and is more tolerable so you have that option too.

Caffeine solution for dark circles. For dark spots and hyperpigmentation (leftover from acne or any other skin issue) use alpha arbutin or tranexamic acid. Hydroquinone (2% or less) is another one that can be used to lighten spots. This is likely the agent found in lightening creams that people in Asian and African countries overly use to lighten skin (it is only for spot treating hyperpigmentation so once the mark has faded stop using it). Vitamin C for brightening.

Clinique moisture surge

Dot and key dark circle mask

L’Oréal skin perfect..

ALWAYS use a sunscreen 🧴. Using neutrogena with zinc 50+ SPF ( I have a think fair skin, gets burnt easily.. so have to reapply several times, when outside)

Using dot and key night cream and eye mask at night these days.

Other than that, desi solutions for skin like Multani mitti, sandalwood, rose water..

Also use facepacks .. brought a innisfree clay pack recently, L’Oréal face packs etc.
