24 th June Fateh goes Against Family - Page 2

It seems Fateh will move on from Jasmine , but he may not fall in love anytime soon. At least he won’t realize it. Tejo will fall for him but she won’t confess.

Canada guy may say NO to Jasmine Or Jasmine will say NO to him and tries to win Fateh.

Today's episode was definitely worth watching. Fateh's fierce side shone through. The way he stood up for not only Tejo but for his own beliefs really got conveyed through Ankit's acting.

Especially the dialogue "Sunday ke din aadmi ke khaana banane se aurton ki respect nahi hoti" really hit me hard. It would definitely resonate with every woman having progressive thoughts.

@mistofshadows If KHushbeer were really modern he wouldn't have "allowed" Simran to work. He would have let her choose for herself. Nor would he have allowed Simran's past experience overshadow his opinion and support for Tejo going back to work.

One thing I understood from Khushbeer's reaction was that being someone who is very firm in his principles, women going outside for work doesn't really resonate with him. The matter simply doesn't hold any importance for him, so he doesn't really have any opinion about it..

Fateh's reactions come from 2 reasons :

His fierce nature and loyalty as well as protectiveness towards lovedones.

He stands for what he believes in. We've seen that before as well.

[I am not gonna write about having softcorner for Tejo here as a reason because it's really not. It just helped him argue for rightfully. But if anyone else would have been in her place, he would have still fought for them as long as he believed they were right.]

Hence proved: Fateh is Khushveer's son.

So apparently Khushveer is modern in his thoughts. He allowed Simran to do a job too. There she fell in love and eloped. He stood up for Tejo too but he was made to quieten by reminding Simran's incident.

Yet Fateh takes on from where he leaves. And proves that there is Khushveer's blood in him too.

Kya debate kia.

And the last scene was beautiful. Him helping Tejo get ready and leave ❤️❤️❤️

This has become my favourite episode too.

And I absolutely loved Fateh here. This is the Fateh that I also wanted to see.

Loved the entire scene with his family... Just loved how he took a stand for Tejo.

Fateh indeed proves that he has Khushveer's blood in him... Loved how he took a stand for Tejo's dreams. He knows how to stand for the right.

I managed to watch the episode. So normally I wouldn't like to watch that a girl needs to convince her in laws for working but I'm trying to understand (making an effort), women working after getting married is never an issue where I live so...considering the circumstances and that the show is set in a rural area/village let's see

It did feel like a whole discussion on equality at first but then towards the end I liked Fateh's argument. She didn't know the conditions, she didn't choose this family... agreed with his points But still, next time Tejo should be able to firmly state her points and her decisions, as it's her dreams and her life.

Understandable though, she is lost in this house and it's not her nature to upset a whole lot of old people.

Why MIL always look like someone hit her puppy, she has this sad-near crying look... 🤪 Okay, she was willing to give Tejo money if she needed but not let her work, then later she would judge her if she knew the sum she needed (if she had ask, which she wouldn't).

Seems like Simran broke everyone's hearts with her decision. Still didn't like the grandparents reactions and actions, don't have any expectations from MIL so no comments.

Okay, Gippy made me laugh. I liked his dialogue about Jasmine's past and he grew up on these streets. It's funny seeing Jasmine running after someone. It seems like Fateh did make an impact, regarding the qualities. 😆 Gippy's face when she stated he must fulfill her dreams 😆

Is Gippy going to break the alliance realising Jasmine hasn't move on and he is a rebound or will Jasmine break the alliance because she wants Fateh? 😳

It's lovely seeing Tejo smile. I still don't want her to fall for Fateh now 🤪Tejo is friendzoned, for Fateh 😆

I agree to your points.

Purple: I will still use "allowed", cuz he may be progressive but not less conservative. I may root for him but he is also the same guy who has a lot of prejudices. He may have been supportive to Simran but it was also by lording the fact that he is her father. That's why her decision that she took for herself hurts him because she didn't heed his permission.

In a way Khushveer is modern in thoughts in comparison to the rest of the generation but not like Fateh who wouldn't bother with giving Tejo permission because he knows that she has the right to her own decisions.

Modernity is a flexible definition. He is modern in comparison to Bauji but not more than Fateh who with his father's sense also has 21st century millennial mindset.

She quickly says who can fulfill her dreams,she remembers Fateh goes if against his father for her and says Who can fight with world for her

Fateh comes out goes against his family. Bauji gets angry. But Fateh supports Tejo . He asks why they are after her Dream . He says them even during her previous marriage with Jess only condition she had was to let her teach.

If she knew, she would be marring me she would have put same condition .

Fateh announces Tejo will go to college, he will take her.

He holds her hand takes her.

Next morning Fateh takes Tejo on Bike to College. She is skeptical on holding him. But Fateh asks her sit properly or else she will go to Hospital not college.
