There was a huge article in yesterday or day before's Bombay/Pune Times...statements from everyone who have been a part of the show.

One incident was mentioned that there was a blind man, with broken chappal and the team found out that he was an orphan...the creative team got that gleam in their eye since they found "content" and made the guy repeat one sentence for the camera, even though he was about to break down.

It was some participant (I don't think he got selected) who saw this scene happening with the blind man. If anyone can find the article they should post it here. There was a quote of Sanya Malhotra, the actress as well...she was told she did not have a "strong backstory". There was a quote from Mini Mathur too. I know someone personally who had a similar experience on a dance show.

The article in question was on the bottom half of the front page, and a continuation on the last. Anyone subscribed to TOI would be able to verify this.

I don't say the stories are fake, but exploiting someone's pain is a terrible thing to do.

In this season during audition there was a guy who sang, apparently he worked in Indian idol backstage. He got promos and all and I really thought he would go to show but they selected nihal that time even though he sang shit and even neha was like you didn't put effort but we are giving you chance anyway. I wonder where that guy is
