Will Tejo ever be able to work again?- June 24 precap

In the latest precap for tomorrow's episode, Tejo is all ready and set to go back to her job. After offering her prayers she goes ahead to touch Gurpreet's feet (somehow she always appears out of nowhere like a stalker🤔), but Gurpreet doesn't let her and moves back.

She says, "Ek baat kaan kholkar sunlo, Virk khaandaan ki bahuon ne na aaj se pehle kabhi job ki hai aur na aage kabhi karengi" (🤬)

Surprisingly Bauji agrees with Gurpreet and doesn't let Khushbeer support Tejo. Bauji says "Hume kuch riwaaz nahi badalne chahiye" ( Wasn't expecting this from you Bauji!!!😭)

But Fateh still questions their decision and says, "Agar Tejo ji bahar jaa kar job karna chahti hain to isme galat kya hai?" (finally, someone has common sense!👏)

But Bauji gets angry and asks him to shut up as the matter has already been decided upon and won't be changed.

... Well... the next hurdle for Tejo is being a teacher to these primitive people.🤗

I think I completely understand why the family ended up liking Jasmine. They wanted a typical, submissive bahu. They would've never agreed to Fateh's marriage had he chosen Tejo as his first love, she's too progressive for them.

Seriously i didnt expect this from dadaji. But maybe it was the requirement of the plot because it would not be dramatic enough if no senior virk is opposing along with gurpreet. And khushbeer is really out of the option because they cannot butcher his character as he is always shown as a rational person, so dadaji was the only option for them.

Let's not forget we are watching a story set in a village not in city . That too where agriculture is the main source of income .

In village households are managed by women and controlled by men. That's the village way of life and I don't find it all regressive if you see from an agrarian style of society. Village households are big so you need somebody always at home . Cooking cleaning and maintenance of such a big house with garden needs servants and you need a household head to manage them . It's a full time job ! We call it home science (also a subject taught in BA) .

Now since they have collage where girls also study so they will need female teachers as well. So this created a demand and it would be more benefial if you have your own teachers rather then hiring from city. So ladies like Tejo are needed . And how lucky are Virks of getting one in their household.

Since Tejo will be first from family to work outside so conflict was obviously . Change comes that way . So will be at Virk household .

Rules and traditions of family are made by family when time comes can be changed by family too.
