@bold: That's why I kept a margin of at least 15 episodes. With Jasso's delusions taking up almost 80% of screen time, only 20% will be left for Tejo to preach.😆

Yes, simran. Now I remember her, what happened with her. They have not even mentioned her since fatejo's wedding right?

As if she wasn't even there..

She probably won't be appearing any time soon. The only time she pops out is when Canada is concerned. It might go like this...

Tejo's job drama--- College romance with Fateh plus conspiracies by Amrik--- Jasso and Fateh's selfie war 2.0--- Fateh coincidentally meeting Gippy Jasso--- Jeslousy track--- Jasso marrying Gippy/ Amrik(not sure)--- Fateh's job interview--- Fatejo moving to Canada only cuz he wants to piss off Jasso--- Meeting Simran

Again, this is just my casual assumption of future events🤗

I guess so, but it's really tiring to see stuff like that. I mean I expected at least her career to go smoothly, I know she's going to work anyway but I hope the way she convinces her family influences people in a good way.

I dont want tejo to beg anyone to resume her job. Its her fundamental right yr, she is not obligated to take permission from anyone. i dont know why in our society in- laws think that if they are alowing their DIL to work, they are doing a very generous work.

Dude you dont have any right to stop her from pursuing her career, she is her own person and have the right and should have the freedom just like the son of the house to do whatever she seems appropriate..

In the latest precap for tomorrow's episode, Tejo is all ready and set to go back to her job. After offering her prayers she goes ahead to touch Gurpreet's feet (somehow she always appears out of nowhere like a stalker🤔), but Gurpreet doesn't let her and moves back.

She says, "Ek baat kaan kholkar sunlo, Virk khaandaan ki bahuon ne na aaj se pehle kabhi job ki hai aur na aage kabhi karengi" (🤬)

Surprisingly Bauji agrees with Gurpreet and doesn't let Khushbeer support Tejo. Bauji says "Hume kuch riwaaz nahi badalne chahiye" ( Wasn't expecting this from you Bauji!!!😭)

But Fateh still questions their decision and says, "Agar Tejo ji bahar jaa kar job karna chahti hain to isme galat kya hai?" (finally, someone has common sense!👏)

But Bauji gets angry and asks him to shut up as the matter has already been decided upon and won't be changed.

... Well... the next hurdle for Tejo is being a teacher to these primitive people.🤗

Was just thinking

They may not allow her to work

But to pursue her studies

That will be allowed

I guess

All hopes on kushbeer to stand by her side

My thinking exactly. When people end up expecting women to take care of the house and only men to work, it really hits my sore spot. Many people still don't understand that pursuing a career is a person's birth right.

Mayuri u gave sad impression for my post

Dont be sad dear

Think even if she is allowed to study at least she can fulfill her phd dreams

And most importantly away from that pagal sasural khana full day

And college track

Handsome hot classmate hai hai marjavan gudh khake

Even offers to give her a lift

Fatek ki band beji then

A treat to watch the jealous husband

Arey nokari nehin kam sey kam pedhney to dey dete

Something better than nothing

Awww Ani you're such a sweetheart!🧡🧡🧡

Now that you have put it this way, I feel much better. Tejo can change their perspective overtime, but her studies are her priority right now.

Thanks for cheering me upsmiley42

Yes this is indeed a story set in a village scenario, but aren't the Virk's an educated family? Or am I mistaken? ❓

I also acknowledge that household responsibilities are no less than jobs but they are the responsibility of every person living in it, distribution of labor I mean.

Of course Tejo will be changing their thinking and all but I would've preferred if Tejo going to her job was shown in a more casual fashion rather than it becoming such a dramatical issue. But this is just my own preference, I respect your opinions.

I can't stress enough how important this is. Life would be less stressful if responsibility was divided equally. Give everyone some work.

Kids and elderly citizen should be given some basic kaam.

And bahu aatein hi mil ka kitchen and Baaki kaam Kaj se retirement nahi honi chahiye .

And yeah i wish no hue and cry would have been created over her joining work.

Heck most families want a working woman aj kal!
