Besides I didn't want her to say abt Mausa ji. She could hv just said Maasi will do it. In real life also females hv done kanyadaan. And Ishqi being a modern girl with progressive outlook.....I expected her to say dt .

I think there is a difference between the kanyadan issue - which is a matter of traditional beliefs & rituals, and the Mayank case - which is a matter of a girl’s dignity & a guy’s criminality.

I would avoid drama for the former as it is based on norms not right or wrong, while I would definitely speak up for the latter as that is a grave wrongdoing. I am glad they are showing Ishqi using her discretion & maturity to know when to let it slide & when to speak up.
