I think the goal was to pout, but in the process they lift their face and give us more than we wanted to see, as if a grown-a*s woman and man (with thick mustache) pouting was not bad enough

(I couldn’t find ‘better’ examples )

I apologize for this one but luckily we don’t get to see much... their lovely upper lips and mustache covers most of it

During the 90s and maybe 2000s too ads and photoshoots frequently featured models ever so slightly pouting their lips while ever so slightly lifting their heads and gently flaring their nostrils 😛 But of course they looked much better doing it

Disappointments were had.😵
