Bas bolne ke liye koi bhi dialogues bulvaa do aajkal Adi se😆.....when we all saw the clear formality in Malini's equations with everyone in the T family.....ghar bhi aati thi toh they all used to treat her like a Queen they all needed to bow before😆......jahaan itni formality hoti hai, wahaan kya rishta hota hai?

Point yeh hai ki Ts are showing ki unko Malini se bas tab tak matlab tha until they thought she would jhelo their khadoos beta 😆......otherwise unko koi khaas lagaav nahin tha Malini se....kyunki agar lagaav hona hota toh 7 saal nahin lag jaate.....lol. They instantly bonded with Imlie on a seperate level regardless of what her connection to Adi is.....while in Malini's case, they are only interested in her when she is connected to Adi.

Exactly bottom line being they were jhelooing her and her bakwaas caz they thought bete ko aur koi milegi nahi😆 you know it is standing out so much more esp in contrast to pallavi now and am amused to see that contrast too .pallavi was 10 yrs ago in a relationship with nish then they broke up and even 10 yrs later the family and pallu seem to pick it up from where they left off there is again such a genuine vibe and understanding throughout all break up ke baad aane pe bhi they were so warm towards her and it felt like she is asli bahu ghar ka.member hi lauta hai while with Malini they just couldn't do that and cannot do that now too.. that instant need to khade hoke do her ji huzoori that never left them .

Forget didi when has adi considered her his parivaar ka itna deep hissa in 7 mahine bhi 7 saal toh chodo 🤣 when has he ever broken the barrier the wall in between them showed her the vulnerabilities except the hospital but that was also regarding imlie and he was still more vulnerable to the mankua aunty didi happened to land accidently to give him a forehead kiss haha it wasn't by choice then too..when have they ever shared the life.. when have they ever talked genuinly about Regular things or even did the tease banter playfulness .

Adi imlie ke banter main bhi aaj kal haq is even more evident and itna pati patni vibe hai even when adi gets irritated full comeback karta hai 🤣 like today his toh kya laat maroon apne bhai ko😆

Yeh kaisa guilt hai Adi ka Imlie ke liye that he is ready to leave not only Didi but his family & his secure job as well😆.

Itna hi guilt hota toh he would have tried to make a logical decision about leaving Didi after 2nd PD trip. Why only after Imlie actually left him & he realised his love for her?

Again I believe that people have the wrong assumption that Adi started developing feelings for Imlie during 3rd PD trip. They were taking all his PDA & kasme vaade with Didi on face value even when Adi used to behave contrary to what he was actually saying.

We can never make people understand this if they don't accept this simple fact.

Agree that Adi only has formal relationship with Didi. Yeh log friendship main bhi aap aap se aage nahi badh paye😆. Kya friendship hai bhai inki🤣. Adi kitna bhi guilty feel kare for Didi, woh sirf khokle dosti ke assurances hi de sakta hai. Nothing else. Aansoo bhi baha lega 2-4. I mean he didn't even feel guilty about her committing suicide & change his decision about leaving her.

@bold2: Yes, this is the point that feeds into the whole daya wala delusion.....people don't want to accept the fact that Adi was falling in love with Imlie all along even as he went ahead with the decision to marry Malini😆....he didn't magically fall in love with Imlie on the third PD trip.....he always had another level of protectiveness and concern for Imlie even as he was forcing himself to stick to his commitment to Malini. It was a grey situation but he never really betrayed anyone....he tried to be honest with his feelings as he recognized them at the time. Nowhere in this scenario though was there anything to indicate he ever really loved Malini. So when he never loved her to begin with, what's there to trigger?

He's gone through a whole gamut of emotions only for Imlie....no one else will ever be able to pull that out of him.

Arre yeh toh tab accept karein na jab they accept adi is one in a million he is in his own league iske jaisa character dekha nahi hai totally original but logon ko toh abhi bhi yehi kehna hai ke adi is like every other gul lead idk how man toh ohir bas sabko aise hi lagta hai ke adi ko achanak eureka moment hua bhai baat toh yeh hai ke sure hota toh precha kyon karta imlie ka toote phoote haalat main till PD eoh toh apne love of life ke saath tha na. 🤣 why it bothered him so much why he couldn't live why he couldn't breath for even a day without her toh phir PD main kaisa hua ussee pyaar it has been gradual pull gradual building of emotions and love and realization too lol

While Malini was with Adi for 7 years, she was still apprehensive about living with the T family after marriage because she felt she only knew Adi and did not know the others so well. Jabki they showed that Aparna earlier had very high regard for Malini and was very keen to get her married to Adi, coz she said "Agar woh kisi aur ko leke aata toh mujhe bahut dukh hota". Yet Malini always had that formality with Aparna and played her relationship with Adi to the gallery, to the extent that everyone blamed Adi for the breakup till they found out about KC. That betrayal changed their perception completely about her, which is justified due to the wringer she put them through.

On the other had, even though Nishant had broken up with Pallavi 10 years ago, she still had a special place in the T family, despite being away for that long. They even felt the taste of her food familiar, because she had created that bond with them.

The issue is that all of Malini's relationship was upar upar ka and will always be that, because that is the only way she know how to make such relationships. Her obsession with Adi is because he was safe for her, uski har baat manta tha and his family was willing to bow down to her and her family, no matter what insults were belted out to them in return. She is feeling scared of losing this security blanket, so she clings to Adi.

In the meanwhile, Adi is treating her as a friend out of guilt that he feels of dragging her into this by marrying her without telling her about Imlie. His feelings for Imlie are clear to him and he knows nothing will change that. He may feel bad for her, but they were anyway going to get divorced even if she was not with KC. It was just them telling the truth to the family. That is why I am convinced that the KC truth will come only after Adi-Imlie shaadi truth will come out. Then only this Adi ka guilt card can be played, else phir matlab nahi banta.

T family's relationship was only formal with Didi before the marriage & I personally believe became more formal after marriage when they became so conscious of doing her ji huzoori😆. The genuine warmth was missing. She never could become a true member of the fam 🙄.

Contrast it to Imlie's relationship with the T fam from the beginning where they have been so comfortable to uthao her nakhre but also doing shehari khee khee at her quirks😆. There was never any fear of hurting each other whereas with Didi there was always a line never to be crossed. She had to be kept happy so that she jheloes their khadus beta😆. Now that her relationship with the beta is over, T fam's infinite consideration & patience for Didi & their samdhis has gone udan choo🤣. No one has time to pander to her because again no genuine connections were developed by Didi even when she got such a good supportive sasural😆.

Now the contrast is even more visible with Pallavi's entry in the show. She fits right into the family & they have picked up from where they have left their bond 10 years ago. I really like Chandni as Pallavi. Because of her I am even watching Nishant's scene now😆. So Didi Ka delusion that she was some great bahu for the T fam is also getting eroded. Nidhi & Pallavi along with Imlie are the total right fit for the T fam❤️. Didi was just an anomaly which had to be carefully handled by the fam.

People are just waiting to slot Adi into the regular ITV ML cliche character but Adi is stubbornly remaining his own unique character. Yeh namoona one piece hi hai😆.

Neither does he have any sad dark past for the way he is as khadus as he is nor does he show some sort of infinite love or respect for anyone else other than Imlie😛. He is just a normally emotionally detached person who has now opened up to only Imlie. Imlie is the key or window to his emotional side. Baaki kisi ke liye he will never let his guard down. Isliye all his emotions are at the rawest & most visceral for Imlie only- be it his love, anger, jealousy, guilt, happiness,etc.

Look at how he melts at Imlie's one simple heartfelt confession of being scared of being called a joker for speaking incorrect English. See how he softens & samjhaoes her with so much laad & love❤️. Contrast it with him not even being able to show genuine remorse to Didi even when she guilt trips him about giving her a dhoka today.

Yeh Adi ka love journey we have discussed many times but I am still astounded that people refuse to believe that he was falling for Imlie even while he was stubbornly trying to defy destiny by marrying Didi.

Koi bhi occasion pe agar kuchh kaam bhi bolna tha, Imlie was just told like the other members of the family, while to Malini she had to be asked, coddled ki beta aap kardoge na. It was so funny to see, matlab even if you compare it as a beti v/s bahu, even there Nidhi was always treated like how they treated Imlie. Wahaan pe woh bahu wali formality nahi thi. This was reserved exclusively only for Malini. Us baat pe didi ne ek cheez sahi kahi aaj that woh kis rishte se T house aa sakti hai, coz she genuinely did not create any deep relationships in that house, except for being Adi's wife (again in name). You contrast that with even Pallavi, jo bina koi rishta ke is even today welcome in T house and she also feels comfortable with the whole family, because she has her relationship with them outside of her relationship with Nishant. That was what Malini never could do. That was also another reason why Adi regards Imlie so much. My neck now starts hurting nodding to each of your posts today 😆 I am surprised there are people who still think any trigger what so ever could make Adi move back to Malini. Adi and Malini had the most formal relationship I have ever see on ITV, there is a whole lot of PDA post their marriage but it was just for the benefit of either the family or a quick cover up to a situation. This is the guy who went on continuing with his work when his supposed love of life was under a fallen bridge but started screaming, running and jumping when he couldn’t find Imlie. This is the same guy who didn’t react at all when Malini said she has some one in life and easily accepted that he is the doosra when he went green with jealousy when Imlie was in a playful mood with her childhood friend. This is the same guy for whom work meant more than his engagement function and marriage with Malini but took some time off on the first day of Imlie’s college. Even during his marriage ceremonies with Malini half his concentration is on Imlie and her whereabouts, even he is supposedly didn’t like her at all. There are numerous examples.. even if one just glances at the show.. but all of these also, if people think that something can trigger Adi to feel guilty and go back to Malini, the makers should just have to bang their head on the wall as Adi said once to Imlie 🤣

He is the least emotional guy when it comes to anyone else except Imlie, atleast when he found out about Nishant he felt bad at that moment, but the very next day he started worrying about Imlie’s exam and that took his full attention till Imlie herself pointed out about what is planned for Nishant and Pallavi. He didn’t even got moved when Malini committed suicide, even then he was like I need to tell the truth and end this relationship..

Then after 2nd PD track. She was Jimmedari

Then after 3rd PD track she was Pyaar ...

it was definitely a gradual progression in their relationship ...
