I am nowhere saying they cant make their shows, but they will have to do it smartly. Its not like Indian audience weren't progressive. Few days ago, I spoke about how bold shows were the norm during prime time. Its just kekta single handedly regressed ITV by two centuries

There are still shows that survive and become exception, for instance kuch rang is quite modern in its approach. Lot of sony shows can make that cut by say 35-40%

Star One was a good example even channel V shows, the issue was their marketing and time slot failed

@BOLD I told agree. It may sound funny we need an Anti Ekta who can turn the tables.

@GREEN Totally agree. But Sony's advertising game is very bad. Their KRPKAB, Beyhadh and BALH are brand now because they advertised it very well but nowadays they dont do it. Entirely focus on reality show otherwise there was a time when Sony shows use to be on Top 15 charts too.

@BLUE Star One became semi successful because their modern shows where at prime time but their advertising strategy wasnt good but with Channel V the channel only had good content but no proper schedule no advertisement nothing.

I remember SP's advertising game became strong during the launch of Anupama. They advertised it for more than 2/3 months which is why it became an instant success.
