Exactly, now that both Raghu and Pallu have reached a point where they really like each other, there should be some strong trigger which will make them understand, realize and confess their love to each other, so Mandar might just be that trigger.

He tries to help Mandaar when he meets with the accident ,but he couldn't help him in time and then Mandaar goes missing . People witness him with Mandaar and tell Pallavi that they saw Raghav with Mandaar on that day.

He tries to explain it to her and doesn't lose his cool or hate her for not believing in him, she comes around quickly and doesn't misunderstand him for long .

Raghav in Telugu version isn't as short tempered or as cunning lol. He was just a small time goon . He doesn't put Pallavi in as much trouble as our Raghav Rao did here.
