Right now it's obvious that even the smallest of things related to Imlie are of huge importance to Adi.....this is the difference when you are actually in love with someone versus just general companionship which Adi had with Malini.

It's not even a dependency thing.....Imlie is quite fiercely independent mentally and Adi also is all about wanting her to be independent in life....but unlike with Malini, he takes a keen interest in wanting to be a part of every aspect of Imlie's journey....because Imlie means everything to him and Malini never even came close to being that important to him. That is why they weren't really each other's support.....they merely spent time together and got used to each other's company.....to really be each other's support, ek dusre ki har baat matter karni chahiye. All Malini did was pester him to marry her and he obliged....that is not support😆.....they were just super delusional about their relationship.

Sad part is that delusion has still not changed. He still considers her his "best friend", when she was no more than an acquaintance, or someone he spent time with but did not bother to really know more about. Whereas the funny part is that he was more curious about Imlie during his first PD visit, where he was really curious about her dreams and why she was against marriage. That has been building up to this point today where he wants to be involved in every part of her life, becoming her "pankh", there but not interfering in any way. The pankh is just to make her fly to achieve what she wants without being tied down to fear and insecurities. That is why their relationship is different than any of his other relationships.

Exactly that is called been a Pet and not a rishta more like ghulamike jo kaho kar do.. He hardly ever bothered to even explain his Thoughts and His Pov's to Malini becasue again it never impacted him that Severely and usko Ghanta farak nahi padta tha ke Kya sochti hai kya karti hai.. In simple words it wasn't his Business to get involved into . They would call is space and all the Fancy terms but it was simple lack of Connect and lack of emotional Attachment.. They never saw each other and 2 halves of one thing but with Imlie it is Totally different. everyone that concerns her is adi's Business and Is a Matter of Interest and Pride and Bas uska apna caz imlie is uski apni

😆 I think she closed the other one on purpose not to make it so obvious but she is being such a cute bacha hahah in between this the gol gol eyes ghumana of aparna was so.cute too from one to other it is like she caught something was going on but caz adi was so.dismissive she didn't Investigated further 😆 but her look was rather hilarious the what's going on wala.😆

@bold he is just saying she is his best friend but not do anything to convince his part. Based on his principles he justified her in front of his family. He thoroughly know because he loves imlie the marriage fall apart and he is the one who makes the biggest mistake by marrying Malini without taking much time and just after marriage he realised the difference and fall for imlie.

He has shared nothing to her even she asked why are u angry at lawyers office … he replied casually.

And he doesn’t like her any advice of her regard his relationship with imlie.

From the realisation to till date episodes he is least concerned abt her. Hope in future also makers will not amend the stand of adhithya.

Your points show exactly the delusional side of this relationship. I said he considers Malini his sabse achchi dost, because he himself has reiterated it multiple times, even after the truth reveal. The fact that he is not able to differentiate between true friendship and a long time known acquitance who has a relationship with your family because you have known them for a long time is what I said in my post. He still considers his relationship with her as an"Khubsurat rishta" rather than call it what it actually was, a responsibility that he felt he had to fulfill by marrying her rather than a genuine connection. The fact that he himself is not able to sometimes differentiate is the concern, because Imlie will take his words at face value rather than actually understand the reality of that bond. That is why she had the feeling of pushing him to Malini, because she was under the impression that he is genuinely connected yo her rather than just having the "upari" rishta they were sharing. This is the issue. Adi has been showing the world that she matters, though actually she only matters upto a point it does not affect him. But the world has been believing what he says rather than what actually happened between bit him and Malini, which is where this confusion arose.

@bold: Exactly.....this level ka "space giving" basically amounts to a kind of apathy only😆. He was able to give her this much "space" cuz he simply just didn't care beyond the token levels of acquaintance and responsibility.

This reminds me that in this divorce track and desperate attempts to paint Didi a total victim of circumstances, they've totally whitewashed all the many times that she noticed that Adi never took as much interest in anything related to her, never made that kind of effort to be involved like he did with everything related to Imlie......it's like ab sab itna hi maan ke chal rahe hain that he got married to Imlie first toh bas woh apni first marriage ka haq nibhaa raha hai.....lol Didi bhi apne ego ko manage karke first biwi waale track pe fixated hai rather than having the guts to face the fact that her 7 year relationship with him was totally hollow and delusional.

Seeing living proof of Adi's capacity to care SO much for someone else....to have such a deep emotional attachment to someone else ki unki chhoti si chhoti baat pe itni fikar karna.....this just disproves all of Malini's notions about what a "grand love" her and Adi shared. If he ever loved her, he wouldn't be so detached from most things related to her....he didn't overnight stop caring about her....he never cared much to begin with - Fact. But she also chose to keep that delusion going for her own convenience....and now, to save face, she wants to act like she's "donating" Adi to Imlie.....lol jo tumhara kabhi tha hi nahin sach mein, woh tum kisi ko kya daan dogi, Didi?😆

Word about jo tha hi nahi uspe kya rona dhona shaklein banana and use that as her sob story ke mere 7 saal.. see this has pros and cons I have full vishwaas ke they can't show her realizing anything without painting herself a victim in that too so am kinda ok with them skipping it too basic acknowledge karke side ho jaaye badi baat hai but baat yehi hai ke yeh basic courtesy main bhi side nahi ho rahai first shaadi wala fact maan ke bhi usme bhi she has to be so classless and yuck ke isko kuch bhi aur realization ki taraf ohenka bhi waste hai since she will only be like you are responsible phir bhi tumhara pyar mere 7 saath saal le bhaari padh gaya. The women doesn't even has the basic courtesy of accepting ke 7 saal akele ke nahi thay adi ke bhi thay jab wohi nahi manana t9h aur kya.

Yeh toh abhi bhi facts se nazar chura ke bhaithi hai agar socho toh sab moot hi hai all the times she saw his acute concern for imlie the bridge incident that she just cannot accept or recall in passing too and is dimaag band karke bhaithi on that. What was the point if she never had to go over it and the graciously accept that isko Bhram tha uske baad karti rehti yeh drama of face saving and to eject herself but the very fact that she started this and kept it going so adi can be hers is just 🤮🤮🤮 I mean this is the woman who after sach came up with a name instead of them just ending to adi ke she lied to get hi to spit after he told her the truth but nope which is why she is just plain disgusting and even if she does actually fall in love they will be disgusting caz motives and intentions matter.
