After being deep in bed with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, now they're going to try to be woke. Young white women abandoned the brand so now they're going to represent minorities, older women, fat people, gay and trans women. They're like 10 years too late. I'd be shocked if the turnout works.

Victoria's Secret worked back in the day because it was aspirational. People wanted to look like their Angels. You can't copy Fenty after failure and scandals and think their customer base is going to just move over. And the leftover aspirational group is definitely not going to buy underwear based on people like Megan Rapinoe whose claim to fame is being really annoying.

The popular lingerie Victoria’s Secret has faced criticism several times for upholding unrealistic beauty and body standards. However, the brand has decided to “abandon” its models, or “Angels” as they call it, and partner with inspirational women instead, reports Business Insider.

These women, including activists, entrepreneurs, sportswomen, etc., are to be the brand’s new face and will be redefining what “sexy” means. The list includes our very own desi girl Priyanka Chopra!

According to NDTV, Victoria’s Secret’s chief executive, Martin Waters, said:

“When the world was changing, we were too slow to respond. We needed to stop being about what men want and to be about what women want.”

Priyanka will be the face of the brand alongside some brilliant women including American soccer star Megan Rapinoe, Brazilian transgender model Valentina Sampaio, 17-year-old Chinese American freestyle skier, and soon-to-be Olympian Eileen Gu, 29-year-old biracial model and inclusivity advocate Paloma Elsesser, photographer and Los Angeles-based media personality Amanda de Cadenet and South Sudanese-Australian model Adut Akech, reports Moneycontrol.
