She deliberately used Ardhamainda to make a point that she is Pallavi Raghav Rao and not their DIL anymore. It was her showing the Deshmukh family that she has changed and accepted Raghav as hers.

She was not using Ardhamainda to convey “understand?” in normal speech. Ardhamainda was a tool to convey the underlying sentiment. And so, using samazhla would not have helped at all.

Tbh that ardhamainda took me by surprise a bit.. so I know what you mean 😆 But I did love it 😎 I think it was Pallavi encapsulating herself with Raghav's attitude. He's the only one she's seen so far who doesn't give a shit about others, and today that's exactly how she was feeling about Sanki and the Dfam. The ardhamainda was a symbol of that feeling. Plus the added message that she was Pallavi Raghav Rao speaking, not Pallavi Deshmukh anymore.

I honestly don't know if samajhla would have the same vibe 😆 She hasn't said it enough times for it to have the necessary impact today 😛

I think it was ok. Because it was all said after walking out and then again turning back to say the unsaid. So by then I guess she had composed herself and added the arthamayinda to show that she was PRR rather than PD.

Off the topic. Anybody else with me who didn’t like pallavi’s hairdo in the precap at all 😵😵 The only thing which is constantly going to irk me tomorrow all through the epi. They need to tone down her makeup and hair, might even get back to the way she was before marriage. Much more preferable 😭
