I don't remember the last time Shiva was this happy. He is always burning these days.

Just look at both of them! It's as if the world has stopped for them. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if Shiny and KD are ever paired together in future shows. They have a excellent screen presence.

I miss this healthy devar-bhabi relation so much . It was so unique for an ITV show.

I think Dhara and Shiva relationship is beautiful, but as you said, heart-wrenching, to be precise. She is his Malkin, though cruelly but rightfully pointed out by Maami.

She knows that she has that kind of right on him. It's as if he belongs to her and will always have her back!

Though the original did not show this much of a worrisome/toxic relationship between the two, I think this would be an interesting relationship to explore for sure. Dhara's "haq" on Shiva is only true up until Shiva's marriage to Raavi. Now that Shiva has a new person in his life, Dhara will have to learn giving up whatever right she has of him, and she will also have to get used to the reality of Shiva not always being there to support and have her back for her.

It'll also be interesting to see how Raavi steps up to the challenge as well. Prior to the marriage, I assumed Raavi would put Dhara first. However, based on Raavi's anger today and a few episodes back, it's clear that Raavi respects Dhara, but does not put her on the pedestal that Shiva puts her on. It's also very apparent that Raavi holds a special place in his heart. Whether that can be explained through their childhood memories or her bubbly, positive attitude which is chipping away his heart is another question in itself.

I would very much like to see a scene in the future where Shiva holds Raavi's hand, both to reassure her and to give strength to himself, and say, "Dhara-bhabi, you are wrong. This time... I support my wife." It'll be an eye-opening scene for everyone. For Shiva, it'll be a chance where he realizes his bhabi is human who makes mistakes. For Raavi, it'll be a chance for her to know that Shiva will support her and have her back. For the others, it'll show how Shiva has grown as a character. Rishita's strain/struggles in the family has always been related to the brothers' blind devotion. Seeing any one of the brothers go against Dhara for what is right may be the push for Rishita to accept the brothers wholeheartedly.

But do the other language versions at least address the tension between shiva and dev or nope?

Shiny and KD would have excellent screen presence for sure! They also spoke about how they were friends prior to the show and how they were both hoping for each others' success ❤️

On another note, at this point, I'm convinced KD can romance anything. Even something like a chicken leg piece. His thousand watt stare will make food blush too ☺️!

Beautifully and aptly put!

I think Raavi hasn't reached that space yet. Looking beyond a bond like that, one needs a love that consumes you and breaks away from the over emotional bond this share. I have always said the same thing, Dhara will need to pull back and give Shivs space rather than pushing Raavi. They have a long way to go before they reach a length of mutual trust and confidence!

@bold, I would love to see that happen ❤️

My mom watched the tamil version of this, and what bits I caught here and there Dhara and Shiva parallels didn't have the same dynamic or idk vibe as this one does.

I'm still catching up , but I'd assume as the baby Krish would've been the closest to dhara , needing that mother figure , but this is interesting.

You're absolutely right , it would go a long way to create a balance. For both Rishita more in some ways Raavi in others, Dhara is this ideal they're kind of measured up against and the ideal expectation of their husbands, which naturally leads to tensions. I'm not sure if they'll play it up fairly , without vilifying Rishita and even more idolizing of Dhara.
