I'll come back and edit... let me read it again and again. Bug hugs for the tag!

A family guy who has learnt to be self sufficient, non conformational, calm, emotional, subdued in his demeanor, and practical.

Virat internalises everything - "Main shaanth insaan hu, kuch bhi karne se (bolne se bhi) pehle sau baar sochta hu". This can lead to overthinking, something which is a huge flaw in my own character. Thinking through everything leads us to expect that the person in front of us has done the same and you tend to take their comments as well-thought out, analysed comments. Add Sai to this, jo asal me Muphat hai, you have BOOM! He gets hurt!

His biggest flaw is his anger! He loses the plot when he gets angry and makes mistakes resulting in hurting the ones closest to him. This stems from the lack of love he received and his tendency to push people away sacrificing his wishes and desires in the midst.

He does put himself down a lot. He is an admirably noble man, flawed, but noble, and as the best of them, they think twice before expressing strong emotions in front of just anyone. He will hold on to the calm noble face in front of total strangers and family and come down like a ton of bricks on those closest to him, for the most trivial of things. I have one such person as my own spouse. Trust me, the first few months, I could have killed him with a pillow in his sleep for the nobility-complex he showed to family and the frustration he took out at me. It takes a strong partner to call him out on his faults and he got one in Sai. He is being held accountable, and Virat is not used to his words being questioned in depth. He is being shown the mirror as he himself does this, and he doesn't like it, when it comes from someone he has fallen in love with. He would prefer that everything be roses and rainbows with Sai, but Sai toh Sai hai. They will grow together, their love will run deeper as they have seen and accepted and forgiven eachother's worst!

He has always craved love and crave, he got that from Sai! From the moment she became his wife, she stood for him, cared and supported him come what May! From the pehli rasoi to DIG to bringing pakhi back for his happiness she stood by him and his wishes, respected his space. That’s what made him fall for her...

jab koi apki parvah kare toh aapko ussi se pyaar ho jaaye....

I fell in love with this, Siya! Sai does put her Virat Sir's happiness first. She might fight for Tai, but she herself said that she did it for her Virat sir's sake. Might not be fully true, but he is the foundation for everything she does.

His fear of being misunderstood has come out in this track, he said it himself she misunderstood me and hence he feels she doesn’t love him, when you love someone you give them the chance to speak and keep their side of the story! The conflict of her emotions makes him doubt her stand.

In his internalising, he has forgotten that Sai doesn't know the changes that has come in him. She feels the emotions, but she doesn't understand how his life has turned around 180 degrees to revolve around her and her alone.

She sees her father in him, like most girls look for their father in their husband. She sees his care and his love but steps back when she’s reminded by pakhis actions and words that he gave the latter a promise. For her then even virats actions aren’t important. Words matter a lot to her especially the promise one has made.

Sai has always seen Virat stand up for her. Even when they fight, hurt eachother and wlk away in anger, he has always, always, stood up for her. She knows how much of a peacekeeper he is and she understands it is not easy for him, as explained by Aai too,( let me tell you how much I love Ashwini for explaining things to this young confuse girl). So when he keeps quiet, she is shattered! Now that she loves him too, the silence kills her. She needs Virat to tell her that she is important, that he wants her to stay, not for zimmedaari, but he can't live without her.

They are each other’s extremes. The ability to hurt the other lies with the other one.

they affect each other and hence the extreme emotions come out infornt or towards that person. Vulnerable, emotional, upset, happy all these emotions come out infront of the other only!

the fear of their heartbreaking or losing the one true love, they know the feeling.....

There is growth, there is emotion, progression......

See the virat in episode 1 and the virat today, the man lives for sai, for her happiness, for her everything...

See the Sai in episode 1 and the Sai today, the woman lives for virat, for his happiness, for his everything...

In love with these lines, Siya!

They are perfectly imperfect individually yet perfect together......... that is the beauty of love, relationships, and a companion!!

Their love is pure, hurdles to cross like every, ups and down like many! Life is a rollercoaster, theirs sure is, they will come out stronger and closer but this is THEIR journey together, not apart TOGETHER!

The journey they show is realistic, nuanced and true to life. Things don;t happen with thunder and lightning in married relationships... it is a slow, steady frustrating progress for the first couple of years, until you start being able to completely understand the other person's motivations and reasons for actions. But if love enters the mix, it becomes more complex and more beautiful. The highs are higher and the lows and excruciating... that's the beauty of an arranged marriage... And Neil and Ayesha are acing the emotional part!

Loads of love for writing this! My heart is fuller and lighter and I watched today's episode with such a big smile...

Edited, Siya dear!!! ❤️
