Yes, I'm glad they argued in the bedroom. Anyway, it's usually Raghav who calls Pallavi out for doing tamasha in public. 😆
Also glad he asked her first if she knew, without making assumptions. Might seem like a small thing but it's a big deal 'cause it shows he's learning from his past mistakes. He still needs to get better at listening, especially when the other person is trying to explain their side, instead of saying he doesn't want to hear any explanations. Pallavi understands his reaction but he can't take it for granted that he'll continue doing this with her and that she'll be fine with it every single time. Anyway, this is part of their growth as a couple.
I think his anger is more with himself for continuing to dream of a future with her and this incident was more of a bubble-bursting moment for him, where he realizes that the terms of their marriage are still hanging over them. Angst to hoga hi. He brought it upon himself to an extent but you can see that he's afraid to trust that anything good can happen to him, that he can actually have a new form of happiness through Pallavi.
The fact that Pallavi was wide-eyed and unable to respond shows that not only was she caught off-guard but it's also in line with her not expressing her deep emotions very often. The precap scene should be the starting point of that. He never really knows how she feels. Despite everything she went through, she never really let out her inner thoughts and emotions proactively, it was always in reaction to something Raghav said or did. The maar daalo scene was a response to his visit to the Ds, the talk about Mandaar was when he tried to stop her leaving, and even the precap is in response to him doing Sanki's bidding. Perhaps her drawing the line and telling him to stop, while showing him for the first time that she's holding a lot within her, is what will make him cautious. We know that he is impulsive by nature, and so is she, but because he feels strongly for people and cares about them, that emotion will be the biggest enabler to getting him to curb his tendency to act without thinking about consequences.
