My guess is that AVMs father was abusive (as suggested in today's episode) and Savitri in self defence might have accidentally killed him.... cause Dadi holds her responsible for her son's death. But Dadi is the type of person who would hold the Bahu responsible for any "Apshagun".... maybe Savitri didn't kill (I am guessing his name is Veer Malhotra) but Dadi still holds her responsible as that's how she rolls.
