yes, but I cannot believe that her character is so weak now, she was a rebel, whom Farhad fell for, so nothing made sense, how would she be romantic with taimoor post few hours of Farhad's baddua, wasn't she traumatized, and did not she feel guilty for his state? Wasn't she really sad when Fakeera told her that he left as soon as the library meet ended? I do not know what she felt post that library scene, if she was only scared of baddua then I do not know what to say, that makes her petty I swear.

I think more than her fault its the whole team's (production-editing-director-writer) fault for butchering her character so badly ..

But if we were to put it aside, I agree with you on her little game and mishandling the whole Farhad case ..

@bold: understandable .. But I do not agree with how self-centered she was to see that to her it was merely a joke .. and not a big deal !! So somewhere I feel it was the baddua that she was more concerned about .. she was already reeling with guilt ever since she heard about his gunshot wound and that baddua didnt really alleviate the guilt .. it only aggravated it .. So yes, it was guilt & not wanting to take the responsibility for his misery .. in retrospect, she is shown to be petty .. !! someone who may be nice and not have evil intentions .. but self-centered !!

Somewhere, as a devil's advocate, her character in BP was something that she has always lived with and what she did or how she behaved with her family is something she has always lived in.. so to me .. that made sense .. but yes .. the whole taimoor angle and her behavior now doesnt make snese .. feels forced ..

Yes, love or not, I do not expect anything anymore, both are good people, deserve to be happy and free of any guilt, and any kind of forced tragedy. I know the ending will be someone's death, but they do not deserve such big tragedy, even Mir Hadi was given a second life (even though he begged to die), here Farhad/mahi are good people, the writer will kill one of them by making them suffer, I know because in season 1 female lead suffered illness and died a painful death🤢

Was she? Ok that small part I missed .. then maybe it was a hallucination ..

Oh death is certainly awaiting .. I have been saying this from day 1, it will be a form of liberation .. and I feel it will be for him !! not her

@bold: It is clearly weird .. forgetting bhabhi's parda in front of Taimoor of all people .. Mahi's iddat is one weird case altogether

we are at the mercy of editing now .. and somewhere I feel they have 2 sets of editors .. 1 for Farhad scenes, the other for Mahi scenes ..

that entire Fakira coming to him at her behest was sach mein very annoying .. the entire back & forth .. b****y hell dimaag kharab kar diya .. pardon my language .. I am so mad at the whole thing !!

Somewhere during the second meeting, I feel he knew she was meeting him to tell him to leave .. not to accept his love .. and thats why his tone begins with disbelief and transitions into sarcasm and retort and then eventually curse, albeit with more instigation from her end ..

I agree closure is necessary but this was truly below the belt wala closure !! and that I do not agree with .. 🥺

Yes, the problem was she did not think all these before, may be because she genuinely did not feel that it could hamper his mind, but Sahiba and Rida did try to stop her, i do not know why Mahi thought that fooling someone is a joke especially someone visibly foolish like Farhad, anyways I still know she did not have intentions to ruin him and sometimes a subtle prank leads to big disasters, Farhad had to be that disaster.I felt like the gunshot and all had triggered her only after she saw his state from the terrace, but well that time i was in delusion that she loved him, so the theory is not valid anymore.

Yes, Mahi is someone who is kind, cannot harm people and surely will not be immoral, but she definitely is self centered which is not a bad quality given it does not harm others, here she has hurt Farhad intentionally/unintentionally, and that is why I wonder, whether she would still be upset or guilty about his heart break had he not cursed her? Wouldn't the burden of breaking someone's heart be with you even if that person has not cursed you? But here it looks like, if the curse would not exist, she would happily move on thinking Farhad's taqdeer had brought him for the heart break.🤔

may be because Farhad has always been an innately good person? Mir Hadi was toxic, but his redemption had me in tears, I knew this actor is special. Hamza is a curious case yaar, he probably was dumber than Farhad, because he wasted his everything in love and then in revenge behind a woman who did not take a minute to back stab him and chicken out, I will not say that he was right in what he did post Humna cheated him, but at the end he genuinely wanted to redeem and have a second chance, too bad that they gave all happiness to Humna (who cheated both Hamza and Rumi) but did not give the same to Hamza.

I think for Mahi's scenes they do not have editors at all, because the kind of scenes they have for Mahi, no head or tail, at one moment she wants to see Feedi's eyes and second moment she romances Taimoor's phone call, I cannot even 🤣

In the library scenario, I felt like he still had the belief that Mahi will break down once she is with him and he questions her directly, because I think he thought that once Mahi does not fear her family she will come clean, but then I liked how slowly his pride of seeing Mahi in front of him changed to the disbelief of being delusional, the library scene was ugly but I loved how once Mahi tells him that he day dreams, he retorts back with a question 'Am i really this stupid'? That was clear case of someone who always believed in being straightforward and this time he was accepting the fact that he was delusional, Mahi made him question his entire self worth and that kind of closure I did not want for him. The worst she could do is 'I do not love you because I love Taimoor, but she clearly told him that I cannot love someone like you because a jagirdar and powerful Taimoor is dying for me, I do not think Farhad would stay back after that anyway, he had promised Fakeera to go back irrespective of what Mahi said, so he clearly would go back even if Mahi would not have convinced him.

Totally agree. And this is why I failed to understand her, untill I came here with my frustrations, and you and FKM helped me understand her better.😃
