While the summary is appreciated, please stick to this format when making your requests:

Title of Movie (the year it was released) [the platform it can be found]

The summary is useful only for the readers to get a sense of what the media is about.

Most of them are there. The list is exhaustive, I haven't been through all pages TBH😆 they keep editing it.

Wow, I love this thread. Amazing collection of recommendations 👏 Some I have watched, some I would love to watch. Here is a movie list that I would reccomend. 😃

1. A Single Man (2009) [Netflix]

It is about a man named George who wants to kill himself after his partner Jim dies in an accident, and how he eventually deals with his grief.

2. The Perfection (2018) [Netflix]

It is a psychological horror thriller about Charlotte, a talented musical prodigy, who goes down a sinister path (the movie explains why), with her partner in-crime Lizzie.

3. Brokeback Mountain (2005) [Amazon Prime]

If you loved (or rather scared by) Heath Ledger as Joker, this movie is going to steal your heart. It is a beautiful love story between two shepherds that gets complicated when they get married to their girlfriends. I loved the movie absolutely.

4. Other People (2016) [Netflix]

After a break up, a gay man in his late twenties moves to his family home to look after his ailing mother. He feels alienated in his own home, and tries to convince himself that he is okay.

5. Braking for Whales (2020) [Amazon Prime]

Aha, this is for the Harry Potter fans, and the Pretty Little Liar fans.😆

An estranged brother sister duo embark on a strange journey after the recent death of their mother, to honor their dead mother's wish. The brother is a closeted gay who never came to terms with his own sexuality.

6. Straight Up (2019) [Netflix]

It is a cute movie and it questions many things about the current idea of love. Like, can a person not love somebody because they can't have s*x with them? In this movie, a questioning gay man starts a relationship with a straight woman. The ending will surprise you.

7. Milk (2008) [Amazon Prime]

It is a biographical film about the life of Harvey Milk, a gay rights activist and politician, who became the first openly gay person to be elected to public office in California.

That's all for now from my side.😳
