I am soo glad that i prioritized my sleep today. Though no one asked, yes, I feel happy and well rested and yes, I did read through every single comment in the episode update thread. But I did not let the comments deter me from watching today's episode. So i guess i deserved whatever I got.

The episode began with Imlie walking in ground floor, lost in thought when Anu spots her. Biting her teeth Anu yells at Imlie - dint i ask you not to show me your manhoos face? Imlie responds yes, that's why I came when you were not around and please dont let me ruffle your feathers as I am leaving anyway.

But Anu's feathers are easily ruffled, so she starts screeching for the security. Security toh nai aaya Anu ke banshee screams sun ke but ek innocent and overworked doctor came running because he thought she is suffering from stroke and needs urgent medical attention😆.

Today's episode showed us all the problems at Sanjog hospital. Hospital security is too lax, patient DC ke family wale too crazy and doctors too overworked but ready to help.

Now Anu's shrieks reached Dev's VIP ICU room in top floor. Now you might not wonder why its in top floor but I will tell you anyway😆. DC is a V.VIP patient and Sanjog hospital believes in providing only the best facilities to its V.VIP patients. So the hospital ensures that not only hospital ki sari suvidhaye uplabd hai VIP patients ko but also places them in top floor, a little closer to heaven in case something goes wrong 😆.

Anyway both papa and beti are concerned about whatever Anu is doing to imlie. So both of them come running down. Malini is more agile and reaches first, maintains safe distance from Anu and Imlie and says ***No prizes for guessing*** stop it mom😆.

But both Anu and imlie ignore her royally and Imlie delivers the insult of the day. First, She expresses her disbelief that Anu is Malini's daughter. (Oh Imlie! Ask anyone in audience we will write on bond paper with out any need for DNA test that Malini IS Anu's daughter.) Then she herself concludes that Anu must be Malini's mom and says Anu must be the kheechad in which kamal kilat. Yeh sunke Anu ka BP badgaya and malini andar hi andar bohut khush hogayi😆. Aur kyu na ho? Imlie ne use kamal jo bulaya hai lol. Anyway things escalate quickly and somewhere in between Dev reaches the scene and maintains even more healthy distance from the ladies and watches Imlie deliver some classy insults to his wife. Dev maybe a spineless coward but you cant deny that he is smart. An infuriated Anu tries to slap imlie only to have her arm twisted behind her, while dearest Malini watches the tamasha from her safe spot and only says "Imlie", that too quite feebly, to save her.

Now Dev cant stand being ignored especially when he is the patient who suffered a massive stroke, so he also says "Imlie" to draw attention. Malini uses this as an oppurtunity to create even more safer distance from the two angry ladies😆. Can we blame her?

Imlie notices him too and says Dude I like you , but sorry you are not worth all the drama and walks away. Malini and Dev again beseech "Imlieee" to stop her. As she is walking away, she crosses the cowering Anu and tells her I am not going to meet your husband not because i am scared, but because I believe in doing charity. And she walks away, everyone else fading into the background and Malini screaming "Imlie please.. Imlie"😆.

In this entire scene I felt most bad for Anu. Pehle toh bechari ko pata nai tha ki Aditya ki amma aur Aditya ne Imlie ko bohut motivate karke bheja to face her. And dusra toh kya solid sadma laga unhe aaj. Anu ko pehle se hi pata tha ke unke pati nalak hai. Socha, budi umar mein Malini unki akeli sahara banegi. Isilye usko itna laad pyaar diya. Par didi ne aaj Anu ki saari ummedo pe RO water phair diya. Ek baar bhi help ke liye nai aayi 😆.

Imlie comes out of the hospital crying because she now has to go to college. Aur Malini didi daudti hui aayi. Aaj writers ne malini se pure saal bhar ka excercise karwadiya. Malini imlie tak pauchi and says let me drop you home. Imlie ko bhi sankat mein avsar dikhgaya and she is like lets go. And thats how imlie bunked college two (wait is it three? Im confused) days consecutively. Aise hi chalta raha toh she wont be able to meet the minimum attendence criteria and will have to pay Rs 600 (humare college mein 600 penalty tha) to write her final exams.

You know maine bhi yahi socha ki yeh toh college jaane ke liye boriya bistar ke saath nikli thi, woh bhi sabko bol rahi thi that I will go to college after seeing DC. She told DC also that she is getting late for college and lekin mauka mila nahin ki bunk mar li. Arre Malini didi is professor (absentee hi sahi), toh aur kuch nahi toh unko guilt maarke will avoid the attendance criteria, kyunki iske toh aur be classes bunk toh hobe wale hain - Matlab in recent times woh 4 days at lodge, then last week for dance performance, this week for DC heart attack and bajofying AC... Uski toh attendence ki waqt lagne wali hai. So smartly Didi ko jhanse men leke setting karwahi rahi hai, coz she know aage jaake jab KC ki investigation, Adi ke saath ballroom dance aur proposal ka waqt aayege tabh yeh setting hi to kaam aayega.

Aditya looked shocked in the precap that Malini broke such a big news to the family without even a prelude. There he was carefully crafting a five year plan, upping his insurance policy, planning his finances in view of the impending hospital bills and dropping hints to the t-fam that he is a changed man. Yeh sab taki zyada sadma na lage when truth is disclosed and laga bhi toh he is well prepared. Didi ne bina soche samjhe bol diya. Good thing she is rich😆

@bold: LOL yes, even I got that feel briefly. Imlie looked pissed with Didi for upsetting her Choti Kaaki so much😆.....warna toh majaal ho ki Imlie Didi ko itna sternly kuch bole😆.....but kaise bol ke gayi ki aap itni badi JHOOTI hain😆....

But it won't last very long.....lol precap mein Imlie was again sort of giving sad/pleading looks when Malini was expanding her KC lie to the whole T family😆. When I rewatched the precap, it did look like Imlie is still not going to believe this KC thing.....but Aparna looked stricken enough that she might.

Thing is, Imlie might want to tell everyone that Malini is lying about KC but agar woh puchhein ki why would Malini lie about such a thing, tab Imlie will be stumped😆....cuz she can't reveal to them na that KC lie is for Didi is trying to hide her dard about Adi loving Imlie, not her😆.....isliye I think Imlie ko family ke saamne toh is baat pe haar maanni padegi, even if temporarily😆

The reactions of the T men were amusing me....especially BK - he lowered his eyes awkwardly on hearing this from Malini😆.....Pankaj just had a "ab yeh kya hai" look on his face.....lol

I'm also braced for Aparna finding a way to blame Adi for Malini's EMA regardless😆....it's likely she's going to say that Adi's neglect of Malini led to this.....lol but I think overall the levels of golden bahu ki bhakti will likely take a hit on learning she's got another man in her life and that's what I'm intrigued to see😆.....an Aparna who isn't desperately pleading with Malini all the time

Btw I feel the biggest jhatka for Aparna was likely hearing Malini calling Adi her EX🤣.....divorce abhi complete hua bhi nahin aur already EX ka label mil gaya Aparna ke laadle ko....kaise bardaasht karegi woh🤣

Just saw the episode. Decent epi in terms of story movement.

I was impressed by Imlie today a lot. Not only for standing upto AC but more for resisting Didi ke mahanta attempts of Papa lelo, ring lelo. I loved that she promised to never see DC & giving that promise as a bheek to AC👏. Both mother & daughter will always live with Imlie's bheek only however they may want to twist the facts to come out as the one doing the charity😆.

Also they gave an insight into Imlie's thought about haq ki ladaai. She is plain tired of it. And though she does feel some emotional connect with DC & Didi, it is not enough for her to start a new haq ki ladaai. This stance of her is not going to change even after she comes to know about DC being her father. In fact it may have the opposite effect & she will oppose the Loservedis even more. The compromise to her self respect is not worth it for Imlie.

And frankly it sheds even more light on the fact that her BS is the only person for whom she compromises her self respect. She may respect & feel an emotional connect with Didi alone & loser DC but not to the extent of blindly obeying their orders. Imlie's Didi bhakti is also on her own terms.

Glad that Imlie refused to take Didi's ring. There was no hesitation & no change even after Didi's zabardasti ring lelo jaap. That ring belonged to Didi & she has no interest in getting her utaran. Whatever Imlie feels about Didi having haq on BS, she subconsciously has always felt the right on him.

Didi just cannot let anyone think that she is a chodi hui aurat. She is the one who should be leaving the guy. All of this Imlie ki haq ki ladaai is to fuel this image subconsciously. She is just twisting the narrative to project that she is the one who is fighting for Imlie's rights as a wife to Adi & a daughter to DC. We all are just supposed to conveniently forget that Didi was thinking that Imlie is a sly gold digger & homewrecker who was seducing Adi behind her back. We are supposed to forget that it was Adi only who told her the truth that he is love with Imlie & now wants to leave her & be with Imlie despite the glaring hints given by Adi. We are supposed to forget that she invented KC to manipulate Adi into revealing his affair with Imlie & not so that Imlie moves on in her life.😆

But sorry writers, audience memories are not like Didi's. We remember everything & cannot digest Didi's fake concern & mahanta. All of it is an exercise to control the narrative & come out on top as a martyr who sacrificed everything for Adi-Imlie. What a delusional loser pathetic woman🤢.

Yes, Imlie has drawn a line on the Dev issue for now which is a pleasant surprise😆. But I do think we need to take it with a pinch of salt. Imlie feels an emotional connection to Dev but doesn't feel she has a valid relationship with him like she does with Adi.....that is why her stances are different in the two "Haq ki ladaai" scenarios as well.

Dev/Malini are pushing her to act like Dev is her dad and Imlie's stance is that she respects and cares for Dev but technically he is still only Malini's father in her eyes....toh kis haq ke liye ladne ko bol rahe hain log use? 😆......this is why it is easier for her to pull back and keep reiterating that he is only Malini's father. It will not DEVASTATE Imlie to not be able to pall around with Dev😆.

Adi ofcourse is a whole other category for her😆.....He has always been her husband in her eyes, hence a valid relationship to give regard to.....wahaan haq ki ladaai ka phir bhi kuch validity hai and that is why Imlie has made far more allowances for that relationship than for any other.....she has never let go of her sindoor, agreed to stay on as a maid in his house.....I doubt she would ever go these distances for Dev or Malini despite her Didi bhakti😆......Adi and Ts are in a different category for her - unke saath genuine/valid rishta hai. Malini ko woh apni behen maanti hai....but Adi and Ts ARE her family since she's married to Adi - that's how Imlie looks at it.

About the ring scene.....Imlie is showing her discomfort to Malini clearly but Malini still seems to be chalking it up to Imlie's "sacrificing" streak that she doesn't want to accept that ring😕....lol problem yeh bhi hai ki Imlie took that sari from her in the past na....toh Didi ko ab lagta hai ki woh kuch bhi chipka sakta hai Imlie pe.....but Imlie took a stronger stand about this ring cuz she had seen it be a direct gift from Adi to Malini and that is also why she is refusing to accept it secondhand😆.....In that sense, the truth revelation has indeed freed Imlie to push back against Malini more firmly, no?😆.....warna pehle us truth ke guilt mein bhi Imlie zyada seh leti thi.....lol but now Didi knows the truth toh Imlie can more clearly express her stance to her😆

2. Malini's mother - The entire episode also had a common arc of AC. From the hospital where she got a dose from Imlie (maybe dil se I am a TRP aunty, coz that was satisfying to watch), to the car where Malini tried to give a reason to her mother's thinking, but accepted that it does not justify her behavior towards Imlie and others as well, to finally at the T house where it looked almost like a shared secret between Imlie and Malini about the incident. As for the Haq ki Ladaai stance from Imlie.....lol I did feel amused when she said she's tired of everyone telling her to fight for her haq.

But at the same time, Imlie's stance is also not sustainable.....there is no scenario in which everyone will stay happy even if Imlie doesn't fight for her rights.....that is what she's not getting.

Everyone keeps pitching it to her as a justice thing for her....that is why Imlie is not getting it.....what she isn't getting is that if she doesn't step up to take her rightful haq, all the people she cares about won't be happy either.....starting from Adi and all the way to the whole T family and then her own Amma-Dadda as well.

Imlie is living in a utopia in her head if she thinks something can grow without the ground being cleared first.....yeh toh nature ka rule hai....you have to clear the field, make space before you can grow something in it.....and there is no scenario in which moving something out of the way won't cause some form of hurt to something.....you can't forever be in limbo over something like that. The cycle of life has to keep going.

I also found it funny that hospital mein random line maar di ki hum apna haq chheen ke bhi le sakte hain and baad mein she was back to her defeatist "Haq ki ladaai mein koi bhi khush nahin hoga"....lol .....toh phir kis haq ko chheennne ki baat ki pehle? Does she think when her Dadda goes about fighting for his rights, that makes the government happy?😆.....Grow up, child😆.....you can't keep the whole world happy all the time.

Anyways, she's going to run out of excuses once the divorce happens.....lol.....as Adi rightly pointed out....this is a world built on lies and it's meant to collapse one day.....Imlie is fearing that collapse but its inevitable.

Everyone keeps pitching it to her as a justice thing for her....that is why Imlie is not getting it.....what she isn't getting is that if she doesn't step up to take her rightful haq, all the people she cares about won't be happy either.....starting from Adi and all the way to the whole T family and then her own Amma-Dadda as well.

Imlie is living in a utopia in her head if she thinks something can grow without the ground being cleared first.....yeh toh nature ka rule hai....you have to clear the field, make space before you can grow something in it.....and there is no scenario in which moving something out of the way won't cause some form of hurt to something.....you can't forever be in limbo over something like that. The cycle of life has to keep going.

I also found it funny that hospital mein random line maar di ki hum apna haq chheen ke bhi le sakte hain and baad mein she was back to her defeatist "Haq ki ladaai mein koi bhi khush nahin hoga"....lol .....toh phir kis haq ko chheennne ki baat ki pehle? Does she think when her Dadda goes about fighting for his rights, that makes the government happy?😆.....Grow up, child😆.....you can't keep the whole world happy all the time.

Anyways, she's going to run out of excuses once the divorce happens.....lol.....as Adi rightly pointed out....this is a world built on lies and it's meant to collapse one day.....Imlie is fearing that collapse but its inevitable.

You know this para reminded me of why I felt the new promo was making me uncomfortable. Imli has always seen the people around her make such choices which keep them in limbo, sometimes for years. So for her to do the same is going to be inevitable. She has seen her mother nibhao rishta with her so called "father" by waiting for him for 19 years as she did not want to rock the boat by asking her haq. SK also has allowed himself to be in this limbo when he has always loved Meethi, but never confronted her about their shared feelings till recent times. Imlie had never seen a successful give and take rishta to base her understanding of marriage on. Even in Adi's case, she has seen him bend down and give in to Malini in every case, sometimes even when he was justified in his stance. That has led her to believe that fighting for haq, that to with people you consider family, like Malini seems to cause more harm than actually solve the situation. Meethi justified her stance by showing her insecurity of being a gaon ki gori who the family would not have accepted, which played into her insecurities as well that Adi may just be pitying her rather than actually loving her.

She has not understood the reasoning behind Adi's choices, where more than anything it was basic incompatibility that broke their relationship more than the fact that Imlie was in their lives, but he has had such a conversation with her.

This was why I hope that before the ultimatum, she gets such a conversation which will reassure her that to move ahead you need to shed the previous baggage. That for a frest start to her marriage, she needs to choose her partner and walk with him hand in hand to face the world rather than just nibhao the rishta from her end and say that this is all I can do. Without that, Imlie's proposal to Adi will just seem like band aid thrown hin to give him what he wants rather than being a decision they both want and will commit to for life.
