The quality of this show is getting deteriorated every passing day and becoming boring at another level. I mean though the actors are extremely good, the storyline and all the characters' behavior is just irritating me so much. Even Ahilya Bai's.....!! The way Ahilya Bai or Khander Rao are behaving in the show, no way they'd be behaving like that in the history. NEVER. Ahilya is behaving like such an "adamant" and "daydreaming" kid nowadays. Without doing any fruitful work, she is seen to be talking to herself mostly or talking to God, not caring an ounce for anything else much around her. Whereas, Khander Rao is behaving like such an egoistic and insecure lad who can't even properly express himself or his problems whatever maybe to anyone. And there is his father Malhar Rao who, instead of making his son realize his mistakes and give him proper training for "Subedar Course", just likes to eavesdrop on Ahilya-Khander Rao conversation without acting much on that. I mean "iff" Khander Rao was like this as shown here, then Malhar Rao after knowing all his insecurities and stuffs, did he ever make an effort to tell his son that he need not have to think of his wife as his competitor or should not be jealous of her achievements, rather be happy about that? I always hear Ahilya giving those speeches to Khander Rao instead of him. Why? If Khander Rao used to be such a jealous prat and mumma's obedient boy who loves doing home politics against his wife along with his mother in history, then Ahilyabai could hardly achieve so much.
And there comes Dwarka Bai, the most confusing character I have ever seen on tv. What she want is not even clear to her. I mean she was supposed to be the "Villain/vamp" as this show declared unofficialy in the initial days, but she's not even the "V" of villain, maybe Gautama Bai qualified somehow in that category. And where is Harku Bai? Makers may have forgotten that she used to exist once.
