U gotta think 10 times before speaking. It’s a new age where everything is micro-analyzed.

So I wanna ask members what is your personal threshold to cancel someone ? Celebrity or not ?

I guess the people who canceled me won’t be responding 😆

She's safe because of her close ties to the BJP. That's a whole different issue. Besides, Indian society is not half as "woke" as Western societies a la the US.

Cancel culture is a total cancer in the West. It's nothing short of an epidemic, to be honest.

what is cancel someone?

* Unapologetic casteism ,racism ..that kind of thing

* An inability or unwillingness to say Sorry and Thank you ever . If you cant say these things then most likely you are an R's-hole and not worth any time or attention.

* Animal abuse. I've met 'nice' people ( folks who are nice to other human beings ) but think it's fun to set lizards on fire or make jokes about the suffering of certain animals like goats chickens pigs etc. Now this is a tricky subject that takes you to the never ending discussion on meat vs vegetarianism/veganism but the point is...regardless of what your diet is. ..if you think the death of a creature is a 'Haha' matter ..then my mind cancels you right away.

I've very patient ,I almost never block people or put them on ignore ...but these three things make a very good screening process.

Apart from murderers and rapists, I don't really cancel anyone. Cancel culture is revolting and expects humans to be these perfect saintly creatures who have no faults and no opinions. These cancel culture freaks even go crazy over politically incorrect jokes. These are the people who sit on Twitter all day calling for boycotts and harass everyone in their social warrior justice campaigns. 🤢
