From what i am reading on the regional thread and apologize for mentioning it, it looks like the bengali version may have been a tad bit more progressive than the 2021 imlie. They are also dealing with a conservative hindi belt here.

Hindi belt is quite conservative👍🏼specially in today's time jahan til ka taad banne mein der ni lagti

You just read my mind. They won't be able to copy paste and they are not. The gender equality is more in Bengal and so are Assertive women who might not sit well with the audience here. They are taking in account these nuances. And for whatever worth... Didi's rude behaviour to Imlie in the past is what I think will prevent Adi from the much dreaded guilt trip.

Bs should relive his marriage with imlie with all the signs of bitterness of the past erased. She should be decked up beautifully, maybe he can buy her a modest ring , saree and mangalsutra. Didi ka suicide track ko chhod ke sabhi track almost same to same hai aur Kun ka entry bhi is week main hi hai ,hum saath mein dekh lenge 😆IK was progressive in so many ways but yahaan to progress ko binocular se dekhna padhta hai😆

Arey regression mein agar Adi ka guilt trip bhul jaaye to I am ok. Because I can't digest an Adi who feels guilty about Imlie when he was with Didi and feels guilty about Didi when he is with Imlie. Doesn't sound like a mentally stable or a fidle person. It would actually put lmlie right...where she says that he was mistaken about his love once..and he could be the same twice .

Waise I am also awaiting what will Imlie think when she comes to know that BS knew about DC all along....

I can tolerate separation that flimsy stupid ground but not Adi ka guilt trip. He ca ln put Didi's profile on tinder and swipe left and right but no guilt trip pleajhhhhh
