I actually agree to some extent. I feel that they bond they share is good, and was overshadowed due to her possessiveness towards Adi. But she does have a tendency to lord over Imlie sometimes, but maybe that is her superiority complex showing. Else I hope they genuinely redeem her character if she gracefully let's of of her relationship with Adi and tries to build a genuine bond with Imlie alag from all the other syaippa.

I think they will take a way out...Atif had said that IK already had two adaptation before Imlie. Both failed. 2011 in Bengali might not appeal in 2021 to Hindi audience. The mind set anyways is different and so is the era. They will have to change. They changed SC as well from the original book.
