He passed away before his mother). I have witnessed generations getting affected because of one wrong marriage.

So I get Ishqi’s plight.. the show is hitting so close to home for me. Sab sar pe chadh jaate hai.. you know.. but theek hai life goes on. When I see people I know getting into messy divorces with kids in between.

Also my sister broke up her engagement, twice 😆now she’s happily married with a child.

So guys, kuch bhi ho. Do what you feel is right, if your heart is in the right place things will work out.

I have seen so many such stories of deceptively marrying, asking dowry after rishta in my close family/friends circle. But most of them don't have the courage to call off wedding.

They should but we still have a whole lot of them who don't. I have known many such women. No matter how rough it gets, they just wouldn't step out. :(

True that, I had a classmate whose father was physically abusive and schizophrenic. She would often come batterer to college. He would literally come to college and stand outside the class - asking her to show her notes, create a scene if she told him she was in the lab and wasn’t when the class got canceled. Super suspicious about everything. Her family was financially weak so could not separate. She got a job after graduation and shifted far away from UP to Bengal, last I heard.

Abusive families can be so draining and it's usually so tough to escape. There are just a wide range of reasons that you can't do much about despite wanting it so badly.🤢

The guy my sister was getting married to, turns out he worked in the same office I did. He didn’t recognise me as I was young at the time. He would literally fight and created scenes.. I also saw him once in our common hometown yelling at his wife infront of everyone.

I told my sister.. that it was good riddance, but not for the poor girl he married.

I think Sonu and Ahaan have been abused mentally growing up by their controlling grandma. Especially Sonu, which is why she’s so vulnerable and fragile.
