I first want to tell that I'm not a fan of this show. I only watch this show because my mom watches it.
So whatever I'm going to say may not please people here, because I'm neither fond of this show or the lead couple.
I still want to give my two cents because I don't think anyone else would. I think Virendra and Purvi are one regressive couple and they shouldn't end up together.
First of all, the age gap between them is disturbing. Secondly, Purvi got married to Virendra through deception. Such marriages shouldn't be encouraged. She was basically hired as a nanny for Virendra's kids.
Most importantly, she was brought as a "Molkki" for Virendra. He bought her, and falling in love with a person who saw you as a thing which can be sold and bought is disrespectful as heck!!!
It's like stockholm syndrome. Like falling in love with your kidnapper because he didn't kill you. The same way Purvi fell in love with Virendra because he treated her respectfully (according to her) despite she being a Mol ki dulhan.
Talking about respect, Virendra has insulted, doubted and abused Purvi continuously for smallest of things throughout the show. So I don't understand how Purvi or other characters in the show think that Virendra treats his molkki in a good way.
Maybe molkkis are treated worse than how Purvi is treated by Virendra, but that still doesn't make it okay to insult and abuse her all the time.
Coming to the recent track, Virendra not coming clean in front of Sakshi when he got to know that she's alive, while romancing with Purvi hiding from his first wife was disgusting. When caught by Sakshi, he started giving excuses and guilt tripping her by telling Purvi's sad story, that was just pure manipulation.
In my opinion, Sakshi has suffered much more than Purvi, and now she doesn't deserve to be treated like this. If Virendra loves Purvi then he should just accept it in front of Sakshi instead of playing gharwali baharwali with them.
In an ideal situation, I think it would be best for Virendra and Sakshi to take divorce, for him to end up with Purvi, while Sakshi should get the custody of their kids, which is the best compensation she can get for what she has lost.
I don't want Purvi to end up with Virendra for the reasons mentioned above, but she's an adult woman, so it's her life, her decision. If she wants to end up with a person like Virendra who is double the age of her, then so be it.
But as we know this is not possible considering the setting of this story is in a rural area....where concepts like divorce are frowned upon. So a more better and more practical outcome would be if Purvi goes from Virendra's life. She obviously deserves someone better than Virendra, who is of his age.
Purvi leaving Virendra would also give out the right message that traditions like having a "Molkki" shouldn't be encouraged, as it's outcome is never good. Women are not things to be sold and bought.
Romanticizing it just goes against the core concept of this show.
