For the fans of the OG Tamil version, I would like to list some of the KM moments that I would love to see adapted for ShiVi. The makers most probably are aware of this and have some plans, but it is fun to reminisce the scene form the OG and imagine ShiVi’s reactions

1. Shiva’s crush

In the OG, the family goes on a honeymoon trip to Ooty(yes it the couples + Dhara + Krish... don’t ask 🙈). In the night, there is a bonfire, and Kathir finds Mullai alone. They have a extremely cute chat alone, where Mullai asks Kathir if he has ever liked a girl before. The most cute story comes up of a girl Kathir used to have a crush on. He never spoke to her, but they would ogle at each other. Mullai goes on to tease him in a good natured manner. ❤️

I would love to see Raavi’s reaction to Shiva having such a cute crush. Not a film heroine mind you. An actual girl he liked to see from afar. Would she be jealous? Or tease like the OG?

2. Shiva teaching Raavi

This is pretty famous and has been covered by a OS in the forum, but there is an epic track where Kathir teaches Mullai how to ride a bike without the family knowing. What conspires is unbelievablely cute scenes of Mullai lying and making excuses at home and Meena(Rishitha) getting fully suspicious and trying to convince Dhanam that something is fishy. On the other hand, Kathir has to manage Moorthy(Gautam), Jeeva and Kaka to go to meet Mullai. I cannot even describe the lessons- smthey were funny and warm and mushy ❤️❤️

I keep wondering something similar for ShiVi. Since Shiva is such a hot head it could be epically funny, and him sitting behind Raavi and handling the bike would be 🔥 🔥

3. Shiva caring for sick Raavi

Kathir was the biggest cutie pie whenever Mullai used to get sick. There were 3-4 scenes(accident, headache and PMS) where he would get antsy and trouble all the family members. They would be scratching their head wondering why Kathir was annoying them with so many medical questions. Incidentally, it would mostly be Kannan(Krish) who would figure out why Kathir was behaving so, and he would have field day teasing KM and bringing it up with the family 😂😂.

Definitely want to see a crazy Shiva annoying everyone and Krish pulling ShiVi’ leg.

4. Shiva/Raavi’s birthday gifts
Don’t even get me started on the birthday sequences. Both birthdays were turning points in KM relationship, where they each understand how much the other person cares for them ❤️❤️❤️

Would love to see how the CVs handle the birthdays

Of course these tracks are probably way out in the future, but still worth dreaming about them

Maybe people are not comfortable watching it🤔, I also don't know the exact Reason.

I have seen on a certain other show , the issue of first time periods being handled, but grown up couples talking about it is not shown.😓

The emotional one is a break down right? My heart might break seeing KD enacting that. Correct me if I am wrong about it.

Kathir comes home drunk after a night out with friends(surprise! He has school friends from 10th grade 🤣) and ends up telling Mullai that he finds her pretty and likes her. Mullai is over the moon.

But next day he totally gaslights her saying he would never say such things and she must be dreaming 🤣🤣🤣

Shiva will eat up this scene 🔥❤️

Drunk scenes are always my weakness.

I just hope the hindi makers dont emit this scene.

KD will rock it fr sure.

By the way tell me friend, is there any discussion thread of original or other versions?

Are we supposed to discuss this?

I wud love to know what happened in all those original and remakes? Amd what differences their bringing in hindi or different versions?

If there's any thread like tht, please let me know.

it can be tastefully done like they did in the Tamil version. They did not go into any details as such- just highlighting how it is a common issue for women, how they suffer. And a contrasting perspective of Kathir growing up with boys, has never really thought about it before, never paid attention to what was going on with Dhanam. But when he sees Mullai suffer he is so moved and sympathizes with her suffering.

Aahh Pandian stores(Tamil) USP has always been sensitive protrayal of issues(all kinds) and sensible resolutions to them.

Kathir looks so gentle with Mullai!

Yup, Mullai has the pains and is unable to get up. At first Kathir does not understand what is going on, and Mullai has to kind of hint at it. He then keeps checking on her the entire day, trying to figure out different ways to relive the pain, despite being teased by the family. It was very cutesy, no cringe at all.

I low key hated my husband on my next cycle because he is always meh about it. 🤣 I was so irritated and he was confused, but I did not want to admit that I wanted him to follow a character from a show 🤣

Oh wow I am so happy imagining shivi like that.. if the they handle it well this track would look way more cuter on shivi.. but haven't seen anything like that on hindi tv.

Anyone please write an OS on it?
