Not even a fan of Kajol or anything but this woman is very precious indeed....A complete natural who is extremely cherubic and a complete treat to watch onscreen! Plus she was also amazing as the unhinged villain in Gupt 👍🏼

Whereas Deepika on the other hand is grossly overrated! She is just a bland and flat, shallow, cardboard cutout of an actress who always seems to confuse the typical, mandatory 'glassy, red eyed' shtick as/for "serious acting"

One overacts and one underacts.

Kajol is still slightly better by a thin margin because she appears extremely natural in roles where she is supposed to come across as loud and shrieky. Movies like Fanaa are an exception.

Deepika is good once in a bluemoon and Piku was that exception. She brought out the worst out of someone like SLB who is known to extract great performances from his leading ladies.

Kajol can be annoying at times but she never bores me. Deepika bores the hell out of me ,so much tht I end up wishing she were at least annoying. Like others have said Kajol never strayed out of in her comfort zone and Deepika is def a hard working actress. Not a fair comparison regardless .

The worst part of Deepika's acting is her bland dialogue delivery. She sounds like a Siri lady with a n Indian accent. It makes you want to give her a hot pot of coffee.

I'm just allergic to kajols shrieking...

.. Dp is no great actor but i still prefer to watch her onscreen..
