I don't know where to start from. But the episode and one character specifically let me down.

First off, ITV seriously need to mellow down with the balidaans and mahanta of the female lead. I really loved Ishqi in yesterday's episode but what I saw today was disappointing.

The most disappointing is Ahaan Veer Malhotra, I so am loving Param but the writers need to work on Ahaan's character.

The whole buildup of Ahaan n Ishqi's equation (call it friendship, attraction, attachment, love whatever) went down the drain. If anything, Ahaan has had many instances where he has understood how nice a girl Ishqi is. And if this guy goes on to call the police and wants to make her life hell, then sorry boss there's no justification for that.

Even if Ahaan does not know the truth, even if Ishqi would've broke the wedding for her feelings. Ahaan had no right to do what he is doing or is going to do.

This Ahaan does not deserve Ishqi. Ahaan, when in future goes on to love Ishqi, he has much to change in him for her to accept him. PERIOD.

I am kinda okay with him not trusting Ishqi because he did go to her and asked reason. She did not tell. But yes, precap is the worst part and if he calls police on her, he need to do much more to win her back

Him not trusting Ishqi is okay and agreeable and sits with his character. But this whole 'Saas lena bhul jaunga but I'll hate you", "I'll make her life hell", calling the police. This is not done at any level.

Not supporting was fine.

Honestly, none of the build-up was real. It was forced by COVID related delays and script changes. they gave ton of Ahaan-Ishqi scenes to keep the audiences happy.

I saw on Mehendi show too - after huge steps forward in the leads relationship, they when right back to a forced/blackmail marriage track once the rest of the team was back from COVID isolation.

Now they have gone back to originally planned storyline....

Ek toh yeh Covid ne aadhe shows ki aisi taisi kar rakhi hai 😔

But whatever it was, they have show Ahaan understanding Ishqi more, even before the Covid episodes.

I had the same feeling and posted the bold terms in a different thread. None of Gul's Male leads deserve the female lead. That is a formula in all her shows. This is psychology driving business. Most audience have to love or hate a main character for them to continue watching the show. Better part of audience is women. They will love the female lead and hate the male lead and continue to watch the show however crappy the track is.
