I think it must be about revealing the truth, at least to one of the Ts , that " just stop this none sense she is my wife I love her , and sure I care about her! "

Or maybe he just reveal in shock while trying to wake her up ( plz wake up, I love you, don't leave me alone )

Like others I have also thought it odd for a reporter he has not had his camera with him for ages, even if he left in behind he would surely have used his phone to take a photo of Meethi and SKs wedding as he will have remembered Imlie was upset not to have one of her wedding. Also he could have photographed SK being taken away by police for an article in the paper. Shame there are too few records of their lives now.
