Ultimately Imlie also doesn’t want to believe the truth she’s seen with her own eyes in terms of the extent to which Adi has fought everyone for her, the way he’s shown his love for her as recently as last week only in this hugs/kisses wala scene. She is willfully pretending all that didn’t happen and Adi still really loves Didi but just doesn’t know it 🤷‍♀️😂. I guess she thinks woh Adi ka bhoot tha hugging her last week? 😆

May be she is guilty so this stand once she sees moonji with KC then she may come to the terms 👍🏼

Imlie has always shared her feelings to an extent with Adi. Since the return from PD/hostel, she has been so reticent in sharing what has been happening with her.

She has not shared a single thing with Adi other than the obvious Dd jaap, which I feel is building up to a crescendo. We saw some outburst from Adi today and at the end of the vishwaas diya, was like I will wait till kingdom comes for her.

Adi's characterization has been true to his nature and Imlie's has been butchered.

In the scene on her bday when she brokenly asks him if she is mithi ki dhool and shares how angry she is feeling inside, where is all of that NOW? Just coz her amma did not fight for her Haq 20 years back due to lack of pedigree or literacy or bg, does not mean that Imlie has to follow in her footsteps. Her amma has raised her to be a fighter, fight for her rights. As Adi said in PD, to Imlie - when you are given a chance, you have to learn to snatch it, fight for it as these are opportunities are rare like the blue moon.

Yes she’s been shutting Adi out since a long time now. I would say especially from around the time the AM fights started escalating and she subconsciously started to blame herself for their fights.

It’s only gotten worse with time and now she rarely opens up to him or actually talks candidly to him. It’s usually a deflection or a lie and overall it’s mostly suppression of her emotions for him. She briefly lost this battle with herself last week as she openly expressed her emotions for him. But overall she continues to shut him out from even the usual general convos they used to have about her beliefs, her takes on anything.

So yeah let’s see if it ever builds up to a full outburst from her where she actually admits all her pent up feelings and issues rather than lying to him or avoiding him.
