It has been a journey of one thought, carried by 21 creatives over time, to reach this magical figure today!

One thousand success stories -- one single idea spreading its multidimensional wings!

Genius begins great work with a thought, and subsequent hard work elevates it to the highest echelons!

It is a time to celebrate for all the creative members in India Forums. With an immense contribution made by authors, graphic designers, beta readers, editors and the ever-enthusiastic readers of the New Fan Fiction site, we have now arrived at a phenomenal milestone, a prodigious success, showcasing 1000 stories in no time.

The initial thought process began in the heart and mind of our founder Koeli ---

It was the dream of this remarkable individual who wished to showcase the talents of writers into a single archive - a place where these stories would be available and easily accessible to readers.

It was a humongous task for her to begin with! But Koeli is one of those rare people who has this immense power of determination to turn an idea into action, that could prove to be achievable if implemented with precision!

Who else is good at defining the Success Mantra other than our own Koeli/Appy?

Here are some of her thoughts that she shares with us on this day of celebration.

1 when did this idea strike you?

I always felt that fan fiction forum should be renovated and modified because as an author as well as a reader I always felt that the site should have a customized section. I shared my idea with Admin Vijay, who very patiently heard me out, and it was his brainchild to have a separate forum. I just gave him the idea of how he may try to develop it.

2 Why you wanted to have a separate forum for the fanfictions?

India forum is one of the most popular social media sites when it comes to Indian fictions. So many authors started to write in this forum. There was a time when this site was buzzing with talented writers and their fiction. I am not going into the numbers, but a particular section of members comes to visit because of Indian fan fiction here. That’s why we thought that a separate forum would be great because the stuff is going to be very different from other forums.

3 What hardships did you face during the formative moments of this great venture?

Not hardship but it's quite a task to migrate old stories. Without Sam (MsChanadlerBong), Madhuri (Viswasruti) and Ramya (Moonglade) this wouldn’t have been possible. With their immense patience and hard work, the whole journey was smooth. And of course, the tech team patiently listened to us and worked on the improvement of the site.

4 When did you consider your venture a huge success?

Its constantly evolving and it is going to evolve. As an author who starts writing on this platform 10 years ago, I would always want to see IF FF be the topmost Indian fiction site.

5 What are your plans to take this forum forward?

There are loads of planning and new features which are going to come pretty soon. The tech team and Vijay are working on the same. Right now we have a fairly big team who are constantly working on this site. Kudos to all the Fan Fiction Graphicers who beautify the fictions with their mind-blowing cover creations. And newly appointed Beta Readers who are helping authors in improving their writing skills and guiding them. Thanks a bunch, guys. It wouldn’t have been possible without you guys.

To keep all fanfictions and original stories in one space, rather than having them scattered in separate forums and fading into oblivion over time, Koeli launched the new Fan Fiction site.

It first started to operate with three members who are the FanFiction Editors today - Koeli as Mentor with MsChanadlerBong and Viswasruti as her associate editors and began to encourage IF authors to move their stories from different forums to this thoughtfully designed library that included many tools and resources for authors to effectively present their stories as well as for readers to discover and navigate them.

The initiative quickly met with an enthusiastic response, and many authors moved their OS/FF/SS/Poems/Drabbles to this FF site with the help of the FF Editors.

Within a short period of time, the number of stories reached 100, then 500 and now the new site has adorned itself with 1000 original and TV show-based Fanfiction stories and is abuzz with all sorts of literary work, a compendium of stories, drabbles, novels and novellas, vignettes and poems, mythological imagines and original fictions.

Success in life is not just for those who run fast, but for those who keep running relentlessly and are always on the move.

In this context, I would like to acknowledge the hard work, creativity and enthusiasm shown by each and every member of our team.

Our talented Beta Readers who know how to define the nuances of story writing to writers with compassion and commitment, gently guiding them and enhancing their end product include - oye_nakhrewaali the skipper of the team, asmaanixx, reel_real, Sonatia, Mannmohanaa, and LizzieBennett.

Creative thinking inspires ideas, which are expressed in words. To add colour to these thoughts, Graphicers play a vital role!

In our FF team, each creative person dips her brush into her own imagination and paints her beautiful ideas while preparing book covers for writers' stories, making them even more exciting and appealing to readers!
