Hi I hardly participate in IF nowadays after Udaan forum but this show has really made me come out of the shell and also the Forum members.

Was intrigued by your title so came to read and could not help but share my opinion not to hurt anyone.

Firstly the show's concept of a woman drew my attention. The female lead (I fell for her at the isntant) grew on me followed by the ML and unlike the regular saas bahu (which I hate to the core) here both the MILs are so different.

The leads are doing a wonderful job and Sai has improved the modulation so well.

Now coming to the show as turning into something.... its pandemic and everywhere there is gloom and every show in the name of being realistic is just showing unnecessary drama.

but this one I felt has a mix of all, initially the DON - Dame drama and then the family, the pain and now there needs to be some relief so its lighter and really relatable.

In fact on the contrary I feel so relaxed and enjoy the show after the hectic work from home, for home 24*7

Also the show is continuing where most shows have closed shop and some are highly unrelatable.

The PH and the actors are dong their best to entertain inspite of risking themselves and also catering to many livelihoods.

Its purely my personal opinion.

I too share the same opinion. I have stopped watching itv a long ago. But this show, it caught my attention somehow. It's the one and only show I am watching because I felt that plot was different from normal cliché shows.

And yes, the crew and cast is doing their best in this situation. So we should atleast consider their hardwork.

I have also been on this forum and while this storyline might meet with the standards of some, it does not meet with mine and I have a right to come here and express my views on a show. Critiquing a show is essential. Many of the criticisms I made were read by the productions houses and ten years later we do see an improvement in their work but it requires us pushing them to do better for us as audience members. Those who like it can express their views and those who do not have the right to expect improvement and if the show does not, then it is up to them to decide when to quit, not bullies on this forum.

I thought you have already decided to quit. If not, feel free to express your opinion. Others are also doing the same.

They need the trps . Romance is what's going to bring them that . This show has inconsistencies too ,but that's alright it's still better than other shows ,so I filter them in the air 😅😅. Its ok if your expectations have been let down and you don't enjoy it anymore . You are entitled to your opinion .

I agree that I actually didn’t like the shift in the tone to comedy. As someone who genuinely liked the Lion track for some reason, this disappointed me. General shift aside, I didn’t like the precap, because it felt like they lifted the scene from chennai express and only changed the language. I feel like the Production house likes comedy so you probably shouldn’t expect much else. I doubt writers will read this criticism because the majority does like the light-heartedness of the show, especially in these dark times.I still watch the show because it’s entertaining and I personally love the lead actors chemistry. The way I deal with it is to either fast forward or to treat it like a different show altogether and keep reading fan fictions when I want a bit more mature plotline.

I think expecting them to enter into a mature relationship is absurd considering their respective pasts and the fact they were both forced into the marriage. Also they have no experience regarding what a mature relationship is like and in Pallavi’s case she didn’t even get to witness her parents’ relationship and has no example to learn from whereas Raghav had been deprived of a family in his adolescence so he is not what one would call an emotionally mature person he might be a good businessman and problem solver but he is not an emotionally mature man. Moreover, they don’t accept each other as husband and wife so the only way they will get to know each other is through their weird quirks and antics and when they are forced into a serious situation as seen in the lion track. So this notion of them behaving maturely like other people who have arranged marriages is just unreasonable because Pallavi will not simply forgive what he did to her and the only reason she stayed back is because he brought up Mandar.
