Yes i dont how to refer to myself and people like me. NRI does not seem correct as the roots to India are there but then also not.

I am trying to understand and follow. What I don't know I ask or Google. So sometimes when Sai speaks for me it is not always clear. But Iove the fact that I recognize now some words (thanks to him).

I would to have a thread for telegu and marathi words spoken from the show so we can follow better.

No jokes apart.. I grew up with the songs, and a language related to Hindi. So this is how I got familiarized with it. At home they don't like these serials etc but I do. They only watch films or reality shows.

I can follow/understand the Hindi language used in tv and films but somehow I am not able to speak the language or have good fluent conversations. I am not comfortable with the language.

That's still commendable . I am Telugu like Sai lol, my Hindi isn't all that ,inspite of living here in India . It's understandable you cant speak fluently , you need someone to converse with to get fluent .

Wow.. I wi for sure ask you for some words meaning then too. Some more Telegu speakers are here too.

I recently saw a Telegu film by accident by the way.. And I was happy I could here 2-3 words Sai taught us 😆 yes.. I am like Pallavi now suddenly.

Searching for happiness in the smallest things.

I would feel bad for the person practicing hindi with me. Who has to hear me speak pronounce and mess up 🤣

Upenna is the movie name. Liked the story.

Now again accidentally a new film Miss India started but stopped it. I was tired and sleepy and since I don't understand I have to keep on watching subtitles. And the language is so fast too that by the time I read subtitles it is already gone. So have to rewind again and all. Saving it for another day. The movie start is nice: some herbs are prepared for tea.
