Plus she was pregnant at that time you can understand her situation. Venerable from everywhere. They were not allowing her to go to her 2nd husband to whom she loved. There is movie on her gudiya ki kahani. Her story was all over on media still she couldn't fight for herself and her relationship. Sadly due to depression she lost her life.

I am extremely sorry to hear that. Yes, it is so true that in India and most societies, it is the society that dictates the norm more than the legal system. Also many people who are not so educated or well informed are not even aware they have any rights 😔 😔 😔

Even well informed people prefer society over law

Not only in rural but urban areas

Some are so selfish they know law but use for wrong work and blame

In show we know raghvi will end up together but not real life not everyone are lucky
