I hope Mandaar doesn't arrive until much later. In some ways it would be great if he never shows up, but this is ITV so no chance of that happening. What I do want to see is Pallavi think about him and mention him from time to time. For now, she's clearly told Raghav that the Mandaar topic is off-limits for him, so he won't dare ask about him directly, but when he lives with D-fam he is bound to be curious about what kind of man he was and why Pallavi admires him so much. When Raghav actually falls in love with Pallavi, I'd expect him to feel insecure in the sense that he might never be up to the high standard that Mandaar was, so would Pallavi ever have room for him in her heart? I want him to think those things, because all his power and wealth will not help him in that case, just the goodness of his heart.

Let me also add that she is not obliged to love him. No matter how many good things Raghav does for her, at the end of the day, if she never falls in love with him, there's nothing wrong with it and nothing he can do. We believe they are endgame but I'm just saying that her choosing to stay with him can be for social reasons and not for love, and knowing the kind of person Pallavi is, sacrificial, morally upright (read mahaan), etc. there's a high probability she decides to live with him because they are legally married. She may or may not realize that her heart wants to be with him because she loves him and can't live without him, so she'll keep telling herself it's for social and legal reasons.

In short, even if Mandaar never appears, there's no guarantee that she will choose to stay with Raghav, or that if she does, it will be for love and not obligation/duty.

@bold it’s true but you broke my heart ☺️ I’m still going to believe that the end game is Raghvi. I understand what you are saying and as per Pallavi’s character it’s a possibility but I still feel she will fall for his goodness. She has been shown to be attracted to him before and now she is his wife, so has all the rights on him. It’s a long path but I think we will be there. I don’t want Mandar to be back but all these shows do bring them to spice up things. I have always felt the individual Mandar by name is enough to bring the wall up between them. Like today she said never compare to him as Mandar won’t even hurt her even in his dreams. Subconsciously Pallavi will always bring up Mandar and unless and until she accepts Raghav wholeheartedly, Mandar would always be there. Maybe once she trusts Raghav & if she gets to know what happened to Mandar, we will have a closure on that chapter.

I was expecting it to go much slower, like we see in typical ITV. But then again, this show keeps proving it's not typical 😆😳

Yeah

If it was Ekta's show it would have taken almost one year to clear same Misunderstanding.

I am surprised at these promises. Raghav has suddenly become a Patnivrata Guy 😅

Sorry, I didn't mean to break anyone's heart. 😔 I was just presenting another perspective.

An absent Mandaar is more powerful and problematic than a present one because how can Raghav fight against memories? He's never even met the guy so he doesn't know what he's up against. Plus, the tragic way he died would always mean he's remembered fondly by everyone. From Pallavi's words it was clear that she put him on a pedestal, and that's going to be a tough act for Raghav to follow. It's easy for us to say she shouldn't compare the two men, but that's not normal. Pallavi has already been comparing the two subconsciously, and yesterday explicitly, which is perfectly understandable. That's going to hurt him eventually.

Even before Mandaar arrives though, I want Raghav to reflect on her widowhood and how she struggled after her Mandaar's death, not just in terms of social challenges but her emotional turmoil. We never get to see or hear about that because she bottles it all up, but I hope that Raghav will be the one to peel away the layers in his own way, without hurting her. It doesn't matter how strong you are as a person, but losing your spouse on your wedding day must be painful, especially if you've known him for a while and had a courtship period before the wedding. Raghav's courtship with Pallavi is after the wedding and as part of that he'll learn more about who she is as a person. Learning that she was a widow previously was an eye opener that there is much more to her than meets the eye. I know we complain about lack of character development in Pallavi, but frankly, this is probably the last major chance the writers have to reveal to us who she is, even if it's through Raghav's lens.

Perhaps Raghav bonding with Ayi or some of his words and actions will trigger conversations where she will reminisce about the times spent with her son and how much she misses him. I feel that just like Pallavi doesn't bring Mandaar up that much in front of D-fam so as not to hurt them, they've been doing the same so that she doesn't keep feeling sad. Something tells me they never mourned long enough because the need of the hour was to protect Pallavi and give her that assurance that she wasn't all alone. She in turn made them, especially Sanki and Ayi, feel as if she was there as Mandaar's better half and would do for them what he would have. That equation hadn't changed until Raghav came in and became the distraction that would force her to prioritize not just herself but now another family too, the Raos.

I really really want Mandaar to be a good guy through and through because it will make the story so much more powerful. That would mean Pallavi would choose Raghav not because Mandaar was a bad guy to be avoided but because Raghav with all his quirks and imperfections is her soulmate and the one for whom her heart beats. Raghav in turn will and should accept her as a complete package, with her past and her memories of Mandaar. He will have to respect that Mandaar would always be in her heart as a fond memory and that you cannot wipe memories away (without having amnesia).

I think he always would have been a patnivrata guy. Anyone he considers family he'll fight against the world for.

I mean, think about this, if he'd had an arranged marriage he would be doing all this for his wife anyway. The only thing that was blocking him previously was the misunderstanding. Now that it has been resolved, there's nothing stopping him from doing his duty as a husband. I think it's completely logical.

Don't forget, based on flashbacks, Amma seems to have been a happy wife. Raghav has seen his father be a good husband all his life, so there's no reason he wouldn't be the same. These things are part of upbringing too. Now with Amma and Keerti living with him, he's back in touch with his core principles, which is why you see that his alter ego is a traditional Telegu guy who has a well-balanced outlook on life.
