Rishi's second innings were fantastic but doesn't mean his first innings weren't either. He was a natural and spontaneous actor who could slip into role. Ranbir has trouble stepping out of his comfort zone, his father was much more versatile from the start
i am not much exposed to rishi kapoor s filmography in his hey days from what i have seen who was more of a romantic actor
but ranbir was as good as cunning samar as he was as lost ved or confident bunny
you have to see the confidence with which bunny deals with his superiors to how lost awkard ved is while dealing with his boss the entire demeanor changes
the fact that while one is focused hard working passionate about his job the other is doing it just to have roof over his day and because that what society expects of him
you have to see samar s cunning schemes and then see barfi s adorable antiques to know truly truly talented he is
to say that he does not ventures out of his comfort zone is unfair because he is one of those rare actors who always tries to do something different
some work some dont but i have hardly seen anyone complain about ranbir s craft
ofcourse ranbir has long way to go i would like to believe that he is not even explored half of his potential
and someday when he does his fans and critics would be equally impressed
and i think his upcoming choices are some of the great ones
