I have always felt, this as much as Ani's implusiveness is self_destructive so is Bon's over submission in the name of love.. Sorry to say this but I cannot buy repetitive abusive behaviour being tolerated and always giving more second chances whomsoever it is in the name of love or forgiveness.... one has to take stand for oneself...I believe BB is not a normal sas bahu saga where the submissiveness and over ethical bahu material is sold.

. I dont want to resort to the unrealistic expectations like Bon be selfdependent and move out of house and be on her own because of polygamy or run away from marriage to a society where people are there with tooth and nail to kill or crucify her..

While I try to accept the character of Bon is crafted so for her loved ones, I chose not to take it as a symbol of glory be in the label of unconditional love itself...Such things are actually trauma bonds for me the one who is attached to the one who illtreats them... She can take any wrong doings on her but not on her loved ones.. with Sampoorna and Mami this only happened, but why? this is not selfless in my terms atleast.. She with time has to have this boundary to be set for the standards to treat her as well.. A major learning for Bon in her growth.. ..

Sumati was indeed made a puppet in 2nd marriage track by being sided with ARC simply for Mano's track.. It gave no justification.. She failed as a mother, but I felt it was more of writers obsession for the track to be single handedly done by ARC

Apart from that greater part of her helplessness was this sad truth

i. e the plight of womanhood in that dark era

I resonate with your disappointment.. I too was hugely disappointed on how they have made her as Bon's mother in last track..

..We do sometimes get carried away by hovering emotions, considering the fact that we all are attached so much to show.. 🤗

I have this bimari of putting myself in different shoes.. if my comment was felt a lil harsh.. pls dont take it heart❤️
