Also, the disappointed look on his face when she said she didn't remember what happened last night and was leaving, followed by that please and smug look when she was in his arms and remembered. He was looking at her very closely and knew the exact moment that she remembered everything. The look in his eyes changed and he was almost relieved that she hadn't forgotten what was a very special evening for him too, you could see it as he watched her walk away.

Param is such a fantastic actor. This is the first show of his that I'm watching and I am repeatedly impressed by his command over his craft. The body language is always spot on.

Param is no doubt a brilliant actor ❤️ Watching him Since Sadda Haq to IPZN, he never disappoints 👏 Pehle during his talks with Kartik it was always about his own feelings but today after knowing Ishqi's feelings.... You can see the changes in him. He actually thought how 'Their' feelings can destroy a family (Mayank's). I have a feeling, he wants to talk to Ishqi about the night, not for himself but for her because you know serf khud ka feelings he can deny but here Ishqi's feelings are also involved now thus he wants her to remember and wants a conversation with her regarding this.

hain na? I got the exact same feeling. I thought I was reading too much into it but I am glad someone else also felt that. They har trip and fall, eyelock before but this time Ahaan was something else. He was observing her very closely. He knew she remembered something and when she was walking away he did not stop looking at her.

Param as Ahaan is fantastic.

Did he infact hug her this time? I couldn't make out if it was indeed a hug or like how he was holding initially in last week's episode without actually hugging. You all know what I mean.

In his full sense, he hugged her back 😆

Interesting you should ask because even today, he put his arms around her to stop her fall but just like last night he didn't clasp his fingers or settle them on her back as people do in a hug. He is still keeping behind his line.

He's telling himself he wants to stop this for Mayank's sake to prevent them both from crossing their limits, so that he doesn't become a homebreaker, etc. However, I think a part of him is just intrigued by where this can lead, the fact that this is in essence a 'forbidden' romance, and because he wants to be able to gauge her feelings when their are both fully sober. They would have no excuse to run or hide. It's convenient for us that Mayank is a bad guy, but what if he weren't? Just like Rhea (so far) seems to be a nice person but Ahaan just doesn't have that spark with her, what if he were a nice person but Ishqi never felt that chemistry with him the way she does with Ahaan? We would be concerned about her cheating Mayank. She doesn't know what Mayank is up to the way we the audience do, so in theory there is a risk of her wronging him.

Ahaan is probably facing what a lot of people do when they feel they might end up betraying their best friend because they are in love with their friend's partner. Ishqi, when sober is adamant that she wants to close off her feelings and focus on Mayank, whom she's marrying, even if she doesn't love him. I want to know if she'd still want to marry him without knowing any of his bad deeds or about Sonu. Would she back out because it doesn't feel right or that she doesn't feel he's caring? I mean, Ahaan saw this too over and over and is always afraid that Ishqi might be upset about it and cancel the wedding. So if Ishqi cites this as the reason for calling off the wedding, Ahaan doesn't have any reason to be angry with her.

Actually, at first it seemed he held her but when she looked back, then his fingers were not touching

From Ishqi's POV:

Ahaan has told her multiple times his views are different from hers. They fight all the time. Big point is he has a girl friend. So, Ishqi will never say out loud her feelings when she is sober to him as long as Rhea is in the equation.

Ishqi's is an arranged marriage, so lot of such marriages do happen without having any love. they might fall in love later or may never, that is the reality. So she is confused too I think but she is braver and more truthful to her feelings than Ahaan is, so if she walks out because she feels it is wrong to marry someone when she is in love with someone else, that is a noble thing to do. Kind of agree with Karthik here.

The best moment of the episode for me was when he didn’t let her fall over - very cute! He knows that Mayank can’t really be trusted to look after her... but yes a very confused Ahaan for sure!
