No one realised the REAL REASON why Anupamaa cannot forgive Vanraj.

Vanraj has ill-treated Anupamaa for 25 long years. He started ruining her life even before their wedding.. From that first fake promise that Shah's will support her education. Not appreciating her as a person. Treating her family like they are beneath her. Forcing her to have a third child. Not letting her have a social or professional life.. etc..

Even without Vanraj realising his mistakes, Anupamaa always forgave him. Even without receiving an apology, Anupamaa forgot all the times he insulted her.

Adultery is not the reason why she wants a divorce now. It was the last straw. Everyone thinks Anupamaa is not forgiving him for this one deed. But truly, Anupamaa has silently forgiven Vanraj so many times that now she cannot come up with a forgiveness this big.
