So why would you expect him to think now? He is not plan first, act later kind of a person, he is act now, think later, jo hoga dekha jayega kind of person. So I am not at all surprised that he has no plan. Triggers are what works for him and Imlie missing would be the next one for him to start acting.

Yes, he is blind where Malini is concerned but that's because she is the least of his worries, has been and always will be. He will only see her for who she is when it affects Imlie. If Malini refuses to let go now and insists on clinging to this dead relationship, then he might start questioning. No hopes there. But other than that, he is always going to keep "lihaj". Isn't that how its suppose to be? You are breaking a 7 year relationship, a marriage, you cannot just be "ok bye bye tata"... That would actually be damaging his character.

Never condoned violence. Never will. What I mentioned was what both are being subjected to and not to draw equivalence to them because one is not the same as the other.

We are all well aware of Imlie’s masochism but she is after all 19 years old. Anyway, all this is a moot point because we will have to agree to disagree. Turning words into actions are two different things and that is what I find lacking in Aditya because they want to keep Malini on some sort of pedestal. And his blindness regarding Malini is irksome because even his defenses sound token when she is a part of the equation

The dialogue writers are really pushing the limit with parsing words these days....and all the bechaargi music in the world isn't going to manage to sell the nonsense that M mouths.

The other thing that still manages to remain amusing is that Adi who is accused of being the biggest liar in this story struggled SO much with lying😆.....har ek jhoot mar mar ke bola tha isne over even little things like the excuse he used to go to PD regarding some work issue.....lol....but Didi ke muh se not just fake lover, but ab fake lover ka naam bhi itni easily conjure ho gaya like lying is her baayein haath ka khel😆.

And ofcourse not surprising at all that the guy she so easily accused of having multiple EMAs, calling him a cheap EMA karne wala who runs after "young girls", the guy she was going to drag to court, that's the guy she is still professing undying love for and crying ki kis muh se bataaun I'm still despo over you, the guy I think cheated me😆.....all hail such a shining example of "empowered woman"👏

@bold1: So true.....I kind of feel that he just does not care about her, her claim, their relationship. He is so done with it and he wants to move on. Remember we had discussed once that he is the typical male. He is behaving exactly like that... he only seeing what he wants to see and hear, baki he is ignoring..he is holding to the fake boyfriend like a crutch because thats the only way he can convince Imlie that he is not doing wrong by breaking the bond... malini wants it too😊.. Malini ka jhoot usse bahot bhaari pad raha hain.....and so true that she lies so easily without any guilt or kashmakash... only for her ego...I would have actually preferred if she would have said I lied... then that would have made him feel guilty for the wrong he did to both of the women by marrying her but Malini ne gold ki platter pe Aditya ko way out diya hain... 😆 Only if she knew...Atleast before he was thinking ki I will have to give her saath because she loves me a lot... now he is not even looking beyond to see the pain and hurt.... When he said suffocated, I remembered his own words ki humein ghuton hoti hain... but Malini did not catch his meaning.... she was still forget everything and come with me.... and she was serious...she was ready to forgive and forget such a big blunder ... where is "I want to go back to my mom's house".... Pehle every small fight she wanted to go and now she is waiting for Aditya to tell the truth... why itni meherbani on the T's suddenly? I will be surprised if she leaves soon... 😉

She was totally dragging her feet and giving hopeful se looks to Adi as if waiting for him to come back to her....meanwhile Adi was looking kinda relaxed and probably busy thinking about Imlie in his head😆.....didn't have a thought to spare for Malini until he noticed she was hanging back from entering the house and then he asked her ki kya hua?😆

So yes, it is typical Malini to create such huge spectacles over small issues cuz she was confident no matter what she did, Adi will come back to her.....this time Adi himself has fully stepped back and seems ready to move on so she's the one dragging her feet and giving made up excuses about how she needs him to tell the family so that she can go back to her mom's house....lol as if any of this held her back before. She just wants to hang around and keep her whole "suffering wife" act going while she still clings to the delusion that he will come back to her somehow.....lol

I get your point about how Adi seems least bothered about her so that is part of why he isn't even calling out the senselessness of her statements as much....he's just hearing the part he wants to vis a vis there being some other guy in her life so that is what he is holding on to the most as the justified cause for why this marriage can't continue and everyone needs to move on😆. But while I acknowledge that, it still pinches that Imlie is bearing so much of the brunt of this while he still hasn't managed to think all this through.....you're also right that he barely ever thinks beyond the next immediate step.....that is deffo one of his shortcomings....he gets tunnel vision from time to time and forgets the larger picture....so right now he thinks bas Malini ko bataa diya toh good enough....aage ka fully socha bhi nahin family ko kaise bataayega and Imlie ko kaise ghar laayega.....bas itna pata hai ki laana hai yet not realizing ki while he "figures things out", so much other damage is getting caused in the interim especially to Imlie.

His pitaayi right now IMO is in part also as Karma for this tunnel vision problem of his😛😆.....he may not be directly responsible for Imlie's current state but his overall inability to manage the situation has played a part in Imlie bearing the brunt....toh yeh SM ki taraf se prasad khaana padega thoda Babusahib ko :P

You are right, till now she was confident that he will come so she used to go to her mom's house. Now she knows he will not come so she is not going to leave the palace where she is the queen. I will not be surprised if she uses her becharigiri with the family to keep him tied to her as long as she can manage. The thing is when she remembered that he said he loves Imlie, she lost it and got out of the car. But on the road she only referred to the marriage. Hence I think she is going to block the fact that he loves Imlie and concentrate only on the forced marriage to keep the delusion going and thinking ki Aditya is trying to nibao the rishta because of marriage. Hence she emphasized on the "pehla " vaada. That way in her mind she comes first

Imlie bearing the brunt is my whole problem too whereas it should have been Aditya who should have been suffering. It should have been Imlie suffered because he was suffering but they just took this route where only Imlie is being questioned and isolated. He is coolly doing what he thinks he needs to do and Imlie, as usual, is going through hell for his actions. Also, now he is conveniently excused from the guilt that he should feel because well Malini has another person in his life. If they would not have got this other guy, showed Malini instability which keeps him away from Imlie, with Imlie pushing him towards malini, his frustration and tadap is the karma is what I would have liked to see. Emotional misdeeds ke liye emotional karma..... but ML kaise suffer ho sakta hain ITV world mein.....FL suffer karegi to TRP aayegi ...

I am Ok with SK doing his pitaai, that was a given, I just do not get the hype. or may be I wanted to see the emotional karma along with physical pitaai....Totally not saying that I am not going to enjoy the pitaai just that, it is not enough 😆

Also don't give up hope on Adi's emotional turmoil and tadap yet😆....I know that Didi ka imaginary lover is feeling like a big relief to Adi but I don't think he will be able to escape all of Malini's guilt traps as easily either so he will deffo struggle with roadblocks that keep him away from Imlie - in the form of Malini, his family etc.....frustration toh waise bhi Aditya babu ka middle name hai😆......he will always keep coming back to that anytime Imlie is kept away from him.

Karma is going to be multi-layered for Adi.....physical and emotional both😆.....just that right now Imlie is bearing the brunt by herself cuz the story demands it.....but we all know in the larger scheme of things, seeing Imlie suffering will be his suffering too.
