It's obvious cos Tejo is a perfect bahu in his eyes. But the fact that he acknowledges Tejo's ability to bind the family together is a good thing. Atleast his liking is not based on his personal dislike for Jasmine who unintentionally hurt his ego but becos of his ability to judge a person's true credibility.

The way Sandhu's boast of Tejo's achievements, I wonder this might further widen the gap btw Khushbeer and Jasmine, Plus with all those "Aag lagane wale uncles and aunties" have arrived now, so they might further fuel up Khushbeer's dislike and finally force him to choose Tejo over Jasmine, hopefully.

Boasting in the sense, highlighting Tejo's importance in the family infront of Khushbeer. For them, Tejo is "Parivaar ki Jaan, Maan aur Shaan".
