I completely understand you POV. But, it's a matter of fact that we know Akshita and Param's age gap and bound to think they don't suit next to each other. But forgetting the fact, they do look good onscreen, and I personally don't think Param looks that old to Akshita. They share a cute chemistry, and viewers have really started admiring them as one adorable couple. This definitely isn't the reason for low trps, I can bet on that. Sony Channel doesn't have high trps for daily soaps, they mainly focus on content and ease to attract audience.

And I'm Param's fan since his youth show and still very much engaged ❤️

I guess Akshita is doing her job pretty good, if not best. She's new to the field, and will improve as the time passes. Since this character as people say is very similar to Zoya/Anika, I don't think SJ/SC would be interested to pull one more. They would even look older to Param. Ashnoor I agree is a decent actress. Akshita has just started, and I'm sure she'll hold huge fanbase someday. One has to start from baseline to reach the stardum. 🤗

Akshita is as experienced an actress as ashnoor is. She isn’t some newbie though for some reason she’s acting like one which makes things so frustrating to me. I have nothing against production houses casting young male / female leads to save money if they are good. She reminds me of Niti Taylor in terms of talent right now but hopefully as she’s younger her performance will improve provided she keeps learning etc.

Personally I think Param looks better with FLs closer to his age because when he’s his normal weight he actually does look older (and better IMO).

All these shows with female leads 10-15 years younger than the ML means I can’t relate because in RL what 18 year old do you know would fall over themselves to be with a 30 yo? This was a problem in IB too - I thought Nakuul Mehta looked too old opposite Surbhi Chandna and then Gul cast him with Niti Taylor which was even worse.

SC and SJ are both his age and around his height if it’s true that he’s 5 ft 6. SC is friends with him I believe and his name often comes up with hers for various shows.

@bold that age gap represents Param-Akshita and not Ahaan-Ishqi. I'm not sure about their respective ages in the show, but surely it won't be that huge. We should rather focus on onscreen stuff that has been served.

Also, Param look much younger to his age, may be because he's short heighted and has a cute puppy face. I really feel SC/SJ would look older to him if casted.

I really want Surbhi jyoti to work with Gul again for a tv show. A good script which keeps us glued

Me too. Surbhi Chandna and Sayana Irani too but I think that is unlikely now.

why unlikely? Gul has repeated Shruti Sharma for the third time, why cant she repeat the good ones

This thread was started few weeks ago when the show was more about lectures from Dadi, Sarla and Aahan, at that point It really got boring .

Things turned around from the Holi episode when they started to focus more on the lead duo .

Aahan must be around 27-28 in the show and Ishqi around 23. Ishqi is already working for last 2 years

i am liking Param in this show as Ahaan . Ahaan is an exceptional ML because has a soft side in him and tries to convince with logic and not with force.

Akshita is improving from episode to episode .

in the first few episodes, Ishqi made fun of Ahaan's age and called him an old man. He got offended but Kartik and Sonu backed her up. If I am not mistaken they are supposed to have 10+ year difference even in the show.

I think that was because he has traditional ( 1921 jaisi) ideas about life ,
