PS: AnoHir do look cute together but Anokhi is consumed with SS's thoughts. I am so happy Ahir also realised it and hopefully, these two will have a strong friendship that might extend to include SS as well..

I miss SS way too much now. I cannot wait for him to be back in action and not just back on screen.

I am really looking at how the MU will play out. For, if Shagun gives him her phone, I think she can tell her phone goodbye for life .

Also, Shagun's classist attitude is ddownright disgusting. I hope she learns her lesson soon !

I think its out of fear.

With Mr. Bhalla she knew answer would always be "NO" she avoided asking him all together.

In the birthday scene she knew shaurya will not meet astha no matter what. She bought him a bouquet just for astha's happiness.

And now when she has listened to shagun and got confirmation from astha on the same she might have connected the dots and cacooned herself to avoid confrontation all together. So that she doesn't get to hear a 'no' from a person whom she loves and whom she has seen in a different light previously. With papa ji hearing a no was okay because she has been accustomed to his behaviour. During shaurya's b day she knew shaurya would never agree to meet astha so she brought him a bouquet for astha's sake. But now she loves him so shaurya telling her to stop her studies and forget about her career is A scary scenario she would have never thought shaurya, a professor himself and who always encouraged her to study will deny her the basic rights but since he never supported shagun why would he support her. All the unanswered 'ifs' are making her avoid confrontation only to save herself from a situation where shaurya actually turns out to be like her papa ji in terms of his regressive mentality towards women's education and career.

Have you noticed one thing?

Jabhi Anokhi ko lagta hai ki answer to her question will be 'NO' she makes her own decision.

Example:

1. Mr. Bhalla wouldn't have agreed to let her go for the competition, she didn't even inform him about it.

2. Shaurya would have refused meeting Astha on BDay so she herself brought him a bouquet and planned to leave before he came in.

3. She thought she had no chance against Shagun now that she is back for Shaurya, she didn't was not gonna go to date venu. But Reema convinced her.

She might be brave, but she does try to avoid the confrontation. I see same thing happening here. There is an underlying fear in her. Could be love or could her way to get her plan into action. Not sure.

She thinks Shaurya won't be supportive of her education and career, she is not giving him a chance to even refuse.

In a way, even Anokhi does it in 'My way or Highway', bas Shaurya is assertive and Anokhi is deflective.

I completely agree to Wama’s reply on this one.

I think it’s her past, her fear of her past repeating and her insecurities that make her avoid confrontations.

With her father she was accustomed to him denying her everything. So, to an extent she did what she did, yo avoid drama.

In case of Aastha she had/has blinders on. She did not ever stop to think or even analyze that maybe her mentor could have been wrong somewhere, maybe Shaurya’s anger is justified somewhere. She never thought in that direction and I don’t completely blame her, you don’t easily doubt the one person who has shaped your life to what it Is today and supported you all the way through. All she was thinking at that point was to give her mentor who has given her so much the one joy of her life.

N breaking up with Shaurya without even talking to him once or informing him once is coz of the fear. The fear of being trapped like her mother n sister. Of being disregarded and disrespected like them. She is not stopping to think Shaurya has always encouraged her to study well. Coz of her bad encounters with him, she doubts him. And now that she loves him, she thinks that going in front of him may weaken her resolve n make her give in like her sister and mother. And that is the biggest fear/nightmare of her life. Added to that it will shatter her of Shaurya turns out to be that person to destroy her dreams. To protect herself n protect her memories of him, she is choosing to avoid him. And after seeing the whole Sab family behavior with her, I don’t blame her.

What is needed is that they both talk to each other n listen to each other. Which rarely happens. Either Shaurya gets angry or Anokhi runs away. They both need to sort their insecurities and heal together.
