I have read the novel and it was heart wrenching I still feel uneasy remembering it.

It's a pity cause I really wanted umaira to write a serial after Alif but I won't be able to see this one unless they have amended the storyline.🤔

Well it was quite depressing for me. Since it was Umaira's narration, it was quite powerful and touching. Hence it had more impact. There was this lingering feeling of uneasiness and sadness.

But its different from person to person. You might find it not so depressing😃
