But kdramas are much in a way where you wanna see strong FLs, proper progression, slow burn, angst and then proper ending without pulling it like bubblegum. They have a set of episodes and they finish it. I personally enjoy this format a lot. More than a movie but sufficient enough to not ruin a plot. Even American series i sometimes get lost because of the number of seasons they have.

I feel this way about Pakistani shows. There are a few that I thought were done really well and honestly am so upset that Indian TV shows don't follow that format of a set number of episodes before they finish it. If they aren't going to do that then maybe they can do it by "seasons". The break between them doesnt have to be as long as American TV shows but at least it gives the creative team time to figure out characters and stories so that every other show doesn't show reincarnation, plastic surgery, divorce-remarriage cycle, and leaps.

Really holding out hope for MHRW and Pandya Store.

From the past few days, I did some detailed research and I realised that it's a Sujoy Wadhwa Sphere Origin PH show. The same PH which made shows like Balika Vashu, IPk2, Gulaal and Phir Subah Hogi.

Gulaal in fact was the first TV show shot on an HD Camera and had won numerous accolades. No wonder Neil Bhatt is seen promoting it as he was the lead in Gulaal. The way the sets are lit up and not reminds me of old Gulaal days, which had brought me to IF long back.

Oh wow!! gulaal was done fairly well!! Even I remember that! Slightly nervous knowing they've made shows like Balika Vadhu and IPk2 but hey- at least Pandian Store is a strong foundation! So I have hope! Also your research skills are **chefs kiss**!!! Thanks for the insight!!
