I was so proud of her for acknowledging this! It's better to have some kind of connection than no connection at all which is what it would have been like to marry Dev, bland, and unfulfilling! I just feel so bad for her especially as she feels people laughed at her for being in her own world of Dev and not getting that!

Everyone blaming Dhara still, I feel a bit off with that, it wasn't her fault. Dhara explained but still Raavi didn't listen. Come on, Dev and Gaumbi were to blame because they hid everything! But I am annoyed that Dhara keeps mentioning how Raavi should move on. BISH ITS BEEN LIKE A WEEK!? Give it a rest, if Raavi is sulking, let her! She needs to get her emotions out before she can make space for new ones!

Dharas been going on about her mother at every chance she got but Raavi isn't allowed to feel helpless?/? Get out of here!

The last time I watched any tv show was when Kumkum bhagya (KKB) started. I quit that after like 4ish months and the last thing I knew about it was that bulbul died. Anyways....that was in 2014. And a month ago Youtube recommended that I see a vm of Shivi and since then I have been hooked. For funzies I checked if KKB was still running- and it is. 7ish years and god knows how many deaths and rebirths and memory losses...

Meri toh yahi khwaish thi ki ITV had improved their story lines and things were more realistic in the last 7 years. But while I enjoy Pandya store and MHRW, it seems like there hasn't been any drastic improvements in FL and ML. Not to say that these shows will turn into Ektas crap as I have heard that the Pandian store story is really well done and this show follows that one.

I guess I am just sad at the very slow progression of ITV serials. Waise what do you all think? How closely do you guys follow ITV serials and have you seen more progress then what I think I see?

The last time I watched a show was about 10 years ago (Big fan of Maan and Geet) but I couldn't carry on watching ITV because it was repetitive and boring! Got bored with kdramas too!

Now I watch documentaries...storyline different hai, Kesar ki tarah! 🤣

I only came back because I saw a couple of promos on youtube of the young pandya brothers they were so cute and of course Shivi! So here I am! 😆

@bold - personally, I think slow burn is the best, one of the reasons i got attracted to ShiVi was because of their childhood history, their adulthood nok jhoks and their marriage. But I agree, they have to show some progress cause though it’s just been a week, there’s an exhaustion. By progress, I don’t necessarily mean they gotta start making mooney eyes and fall but progress as a story, maybe a bit of reflection on why shiva hates her so much, is it really hate, some background scenes and Raavi’s monologues etc would make it much better to connect.

Maybe the format of ITV doesn’t help to explore i guess. The last ITV show i watched was ek hazaaro mein meri behna and post that it is the latest set of shows on and off I am watching.

But kdramas are much in a way where you wanna see strong FLs, proper progression, slow burn, angst and then proper ending without pulling it like bubblegum. They have a set of episodes and they finish it. I personally enjoy this format a lot. More than a movie but sufficient enough to not ruin a plot. Even American series i sometimes get lost because of the number of seasons they have.
