Quite honestly, I felt the initial Ahaan ishqi bit was forced - to make her blurt all that she did. The long silence by him, weird looks and lines kinda put me off. He seemed our of character for that bit to me.

My primary concern is why didn't the wife of manager informed her husband that she(isqhki) is not pregnant

Yes, they dated in secret. Noone except Raj knows about it. Sonu is scared of Ahaan who thinks relationships that doesn't end up in wedding are wrong. So she is hiding it from everyone.

After watching Indian daily soaps for years, if there is something that I have come to terms with is - that the writers are lazy and they don't bother about loopholes so shouldn't we. 😆
