Same! Kidnapping track didn’t make sense here, it deviates focus from the main plot; his kidnapping seems a bigger issue than the soch revelation which was what had to be the main conflict.

Her character really had so much of scope, they could have given so much of depth to Shagun, but well; also should have brought her much later. They are clearly not handling 3rd angles well both ahir and Shagun, they took away the og vibe.

Anokhi falling in love is still my biggest issue with storyline. Aisa kuch dikhana bhi tha, just show her slowly getting attracted to him instead of outright love. I am not able to digest the fact that a character which was suppose to be a feminist fell in love with someone who insulted her so badly in within a week. There should have been a second apology, to showcase stronger redemption and should have taken their time to start anokhi’s love track. To make it worse she fell in love in 2 days.

This was where her character got butchered, right now she is within her og characterisation, so much inconsistency in her.

I think more than strong scenes, it is the fact this is a very black and white situation, I mean everyone has the same opinion that Babli should kick Vineet out of her life while anokhi being her support. DV is wrong on so many levels and no one should endure it. When everyone thinks the same, then what is the point of discussion? I don’t find anything in it that can warrant a discussion either.

Showing anokhi falling in love is one of their biggest mistakes. Also according to timeline of the show, how is it? Like she fell in love within a week of his apology and now she is heart broken within a week of her falling in love 😭😭😂

In my opinion, At this point, showing mutual separation, and them returning back to og personality, and then developing their bond, this time organically, also soch factor running side by side, bringing back bhallas etc,

This would probably bring back the freshness and the vibe. Idk, I have been imagining all kinds of scenarios 😂

Oh I feel they are not getting over jealousy track purposely for dealing it during Soch track .. Though Shaurya has been shown to tone down to Ahir, his eyes are constantly on Anokhi and Ahir's interaction, but knowing Anokhi reciprocates his feelings, he doesn't get to extreme level anymore.

Yes, I think we did have detailed discussion about this in past where Anokhi's falling in love was quick.. Again seemed intentional but Stupid on part of makers... Her love for Shaurya is clearly not as intense as his love for her... But there was a time they both were given similar scenes like day dreaming, acting like teenagers and all...making me literally feel like kya kar diya hai characters ka satyanash... But I always had hope they would be back someday in their original avtars... It's DJs afterall... But now you can see outroar from fans for not being able to take Anokhi's pyaar towards Shaurya to be not intense... Hence, they have screwed up love story bad time.. Because some set of fans are always going to be disappointed 😆 either us or them! TRPs have done down confirming that our view weren't entirely baseless... And Anokhi too was given similar dialogues... That confirms Writers weren't stupid! They just wanted to show her in love... And hence made her stupid... 1 night of Shaurya in her room is all it took for Anokhi to accept her feelings... Right on the day where he had just insulted Ahir with a language like he is taking advantage of 'innocent woman'... All his words actually kept falling on her deaf ears.

I am referring to the episode where she told Devi-l about how Anokhi won't pursue Shaurya anymore going forward because Shagun had told her real reason of Sha... Sha break-up. Reason she gave was because Anokhi has typical middle class feminist wali mentality...

I personally don't think whatever Anokhi is doing is wrong. Again, I am only talking about the part where she is confident to not get involved with Shaurya because of his thinking based on 'truth' told by Shagun... If makers are connoting Shagun's dialogue as negative, its really failure on their part... Because it's Anokhi's choice and I am sure many women mihjt make similar choices in their lives... Why should they just go out and write such dialogues for Shagun which does not suite the theme... Shagun could have stopped at I told her the reason.. And someone like Anokhi might not compromise... Or something rather than having them say such dialogues... I felt it was little demeaning.. But wanted to know what others felt?

It's absolutely irrelevant whether Anokhi talks or not with Shaurya about this... It's irrelevant to whether Shaurya had changed or not.. It's irrelevant if Anokhi has MU... The fact that Anokhi or someone like her wouldn't want a partner and his family who does not have broader perspectives on women's aspirations does not deserve any negative biases...

It's not like Anokhi did not try 'fighting' for her love for Shaurya... During 4-women catfight episode she clearly was willing to be face to face with Shagun... Till she realized the 'extent' to which Shagun has gone for Shaurya which she can never imagine too! She cannot imagine herself only being Mrs. Anokhi Shaurya Saberwal... And only have that as her identity...

I would have somehow sympathized with Shagun when I would have been told how she was made to 'suffer' during her earlier break-up..but somewhere Anokhi does see her manipulative side to not completely feel bad about her past breakup. One way to clean this mess is to just prove that Shagun actually cannot go till that extent which she claims to for Shaurya, by having her either be doing PhD secretly or by showing that she had no other option but to return to Shaurya because she was expelled for some unethical practices!

I don't know...

Lastly irrelevant to the rest of the post, as much as I am losing interest in show because of KV's absense and most importantly with the storyline to accommodate his absence , I always thought that discussing show on IF and watching old episodes can help me maintain interest in the show... I tried making couple of fun posts too... But I guess inactivity here in general and nothing more to talk about in the show is just helping me detach easily... Good for me! Old episodes are still the gold ones, but I cannot keep watching them till episodes get back on track here... Most probably this is the last topic I am creating from my end...

I actually saw that dialogue as an attempt to highlight the difference between the privileged and non privileged.

I come from a middle class background as well. For women like Anokhi, being a "ziddi" middle class feminist is the only way they can forge an identity for themselves. Whereas for privileged upper class women like Shagun who have had everything laid out for them, these kind of women can afford to let go of their dreams.

Of course she tried to demean Anokhi since she's the vamp and wants to have Shaurya at any cost. But I don't think viewers would agree with that dialogue. We know the difference between right and wrong. More people relate to Anokhi than Shagun. So I don't think the writers made a mistake there.

Also please don't stop making posts. Especially if you have something to say about the older episodes. They're my favourites too. And I love reading analysis about older episodes. Especially since they weren't appreciated that much back then. I visited the older posts in the forum from that time and back then people were just complaining about the slow pace and violent Bhallas.... Which is funny to me because personally I can tolerate the Bhalla family drama more than the Sabharwal drama anyday

Yes we did have a detailed discussion on this aspect but now this stings even more because mainly some people are wronging anokhi bcs she didn’t trust shaurya enough to have a conversation atleast and has also decided to break up without him knowing. All of such expectation arose from her bcs she is in love, if she wasn’t no one would have minded much since they wouldn’t have been in a relationship as per say.

First I thought they showed all of it to rush the love track but then they showed heartbreak also so fast. What was the point of showing her in love? By the time I was making peace with the fact ki anokhi has fallen in love, she underwent a heartbreak😶

I think disappointment is kind of understood by any section of fans since somewhere many ppl are feeling the same that their personality has changed so much.

Trp is something I will never understand; I just open tv at 7pm, but the fact it went down and then got up in the week of heartbreak and anokhi taking a stand tells that trp audience love this anokhi too, maybe, or maybe they just love drama and heartbroken leads😂

When you mention about words he used for ahir, even after promising anokhi he won’t think of anything like this for anyone, my wish for him having a stronger redemption increases more.

But they have mentioned the library track and relating it to his soch, probably now we will get to see something?

Let’s see what’s in store, but it feels good to discuss about the show after quite some time!

I doubt if the shooting will continue given the scenario in India now. But we always have old episodes to keep our interest alive in this show.

I have hopes that the show will be back on track once the shooting resumes. Today’s episode was much better. Jugni Anokhi is back and even Kanchan Anokhi conversation was good.

That’s great! I can’t imagine how hard it must be specially with child also not feeling well, it’s scary how this wave is also affecting kids.

I doubt too, but it will be better if it’s halted as situation is just getting worse day after day. Yes, thinking to watch old episodes again, they have a good rewatch value.

Her with Babli are totally running the show! pehle to used to watch on hotstar in morning itself and then also in evening on tv. The craze was real! Ab toh sirf tv pe. But after reading your reply, I saw the title “Anokhi slaps Vineet”, so going to go and watch!

Yes, maybe you are right about the dialogue. It was treated casually and writers might not be glorifying it negatively. But I often don't hear villans calling out FLs to he mahaanta ki muhrat if they really are... Because that's again negative connotation.. As a FL they are expected to. Prove them wrong that they can be strong ones too... So I feel writers could have avoided words.. But oh well.. Let it be.. I do hope they highlight how Anokhi is really unique and nevetheless whatever is Anokhi's 'mentality' , she has managed to win Shaurya completely... Without even fighting for him. 😆

I still hope that Shagun is little better than PC of Aitraz... Showing educated woman in such light is sad... And she could kind of help Anokhi... Or something have her kicked out... Bass..

I just don't feel connected and excited about the show anymore... But will try to see if there is anything more around. I had seen your post once related to old episode too! Maybe you should also join in to make more posts about old episodes 😛 but definitely I too will try to find good old episodes to discuss.
